Rockford Scanner™: One Person Taken Into Custody, Possible Stabbing Suspect

Rockford Scanner

There was a serious stabbing incident in Rockford.

While we were at the stabbing scene, several officers left the stabbing scene in a hurry, headed northbound on N Main.

The police detained a person at the Mobil station just North of the stabbing scene. (As you can see in the video above)

At the time of writing this, all we can confirm is several police officers have taken one person into custody at the Mobil station on  N Main, just south of the wreck-it-round-a-bout. (Just North of the stabbing scene)

We tried to talk to the officers and get information after they quickly whisked the person away in the transport van, but police refused to talk to us.

So at this time, it is not yet known if this is the suspect in the stabbing or if this is a different incident.
