Sources reporting there were at least 3 evidence markers next to some shell casings in the driveway of 6103 Kilburn.

Several officers and the crime scene unit was on scene.

We been told there was a shooting victim, but we can not yet confirm that.

No suspect information, due to the encryption.

Numerous police and the crime scene van are in the 6100 block of Kilburn ave

Police have confirmed an “In Progress Person: Shooting, Stabbing, Robbery”  at 6108 Kilburn around 6:40 pm tonight. 

Police have the roadway blocked off.

Rockford Scanner™: Suspect Robs A Local Business, Gets Away. Still Developing

ROBBERY: On Tuesday at approximately 7 p.m., Rockford Police officers responded to a robbery in the 2600 hundred block of Kilburn Avenue (Jasmine’s Pantry). Upon arrival, officers determined a suspect entered the business and battered the female clerk. The victim was knocked unconscious, and the suspect took some of her belongings. Just after 7 pm tonight, the RPD was investigating an armed robbery to a Rockford business. 

It happened in the area of 2614 Kilburn, at the Jasmine pantry

Suspect is a thin black male, wearing a hoody. Last seen on Summerdale.



Rockford Scanner™: Police Investigating Another Home Invasion In Rockford, Suspect Beats Up A Female Then Flees Scene

At approximately 6:30 a.m on June 9, 2018 officers from the Rockford Police Department responded to an apartment building in the 2300 block of Kilburn Ave, to investigate a home invasion complaint.

Upon arrival, officers determined that the suspect had been invited to the apartment by one of the tenant’s friends. An argument ensued, and the tenant was able to eventually convince the suspect to leave. The suspect returned a short time later, and forced his way into the apartment. The suspect then battered the female tenant, and left.

The suspect was described as a black male, in his late 20’s, 5’11”, 220 pounds.

Rockford Scanner™: Vehicle Crashes Into A Rockford Business, At Least One Injured


Around 1:10 am this morning several emergency personnel were dispatched for a vehicle that had crashed into Lifescape. 

That is in the 700 block of  Kilburn  ave

At least one male was injured with a head injury

 The cause of the accident is under investigation, but we have been getting reports this might be a DUI. But not confirmed. 

RPD is investigating the accident.
