Rockford Scanner™: EmergencyPersonnel Working 2 Different Accident Scenes, Both With Injuries




 

Around 5 pm tonight, emergency personnel were responding to 2 different accident scenes.

The first one is in the 300 block of Elm st, across from the BMO Harris Center. Sounds like it is in or near the parking area on Elm, across from the BMO. A Black minivan and a Black Dodge Ram are involved. Reports of injuries and possible extrication is needed.
UPDATE: They have updated the possible location near Green and Church.

The other accident is near Broadway and Eastmooreland.  Injuries were being reported at this scene also. Unknown on the severity of the injuries. They have dispatched 2 ambulances to the scene.

Both these accident scenes are under investigation. Please avoid these areas.

Sources are reporting a scene near the wreck-it-round-a-bout in Rockford. That is located near Auburn and Main.

Sources said a man was on a bus and armed with a gun.
Then fled into a nearby house.

There was a fight on bus then a guy came onto the bus and had a gun. He then   cocked it, then fled into a nearby house.  He is hiding in house on Auburn and Church

Police had the roadway blocked, while they they took the person into custody.

Around 2:45 pm today several emergency personnel were responding to an accident with multiple injuries in Rockford.

It happened in the area of Park and Church

Multiple injuries are reported, at least 3 ambulances have been dispatched.

Serious Aggravated Battery Scene in Rockford 

Around 2:30 pm today several emergency personnel were responding to a serious beating scene.  A victim was hit in the head with an object and has stopped breathing. They were able to perform life saving measures on the victim to get them breathing again.

No suspect information, due to the encryption.

It happened in the 1000 block of S Church st in Rockford

The victim was transported to a local ER with life threatening injuries.

Suspects Just Robbed A Victim At a Rockford Church

Sources reporting 2 suspects just robbed a victim at a Rockford church.

It happened at Apostolic Pentecostal church at 840 Mattis Ave, Rockford, IL

We were told the suspects beat the victim during the robbery, but not confirmed.

Suspects are 2 black males around 40 years old wearing dark clothing and fled in an older Blue Buick, last seen headed towards the Orton Keyes

I believe 2 calls were mixed together. There was a wanted man that came through the warming center, and there was a robbery at a bar on kishwaukee. So both were reported but got mixed up. There was no robbery at the church.”

Rockford Scanner®: Double Shooting Victim Scene in Rockford, CPR Being Performed


 

RPD:

On 11/11/18 at 0359 hours Rockford Police Officers responded to the 900 block of N. Church St for a shooting victim. It was learned that the victim met the suspects in the area to sell them a cell phone.  The victim entered the suspect’s vehicle where he handed them the cell phone.  One suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and the victim fought the suspect.  During the fight the victim was shot.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects were described as black males, in their 20’s, 5’10”- 6’, one was armed with a black handgun. The suspect vehicle was described as a newer black sedan.

Anyone with information concerning the incident is encouraged to contact the Rockford Police Department Officer-In-Charge (OIC) at 779-500-6498 or Crime Stoppers at 815- 963-STOP (7867).


Sources are reporting another shooting victim in Rockford.

Last night was a bloody violent night in Rockford once again.

This shooting scene happened in the 900 block of Church  in Rockford.

It happened around 4 am this morning.

At least one person was confirmed shot, not yet known on the severity of the injuries. No suspect information, due to the police encryption.

Once more information becomes available, we will update this

Rockford Scanner®: Pedestrian Hit By A Vehicle in Rockford, Police Investigating



 

Around 9 am this morning, several emergency personnel were responding to an auto accident in Rockford.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Whitman and Church in Rockford.

The pedestrian was injured, not yet known on how severe the injuries are at this time.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Around 5 am this morning, police were investigating a battery/armed robbery.

 

Sources reporting a victim was severely beaten during an armed robbery in Rockford.  It happened in the area of Jefferson and Church around 5 am.

No suspect information, due to the encryption, safe to assume the suspects fled the scene.

The victim was transported to a nearby E.R.
