ARMED ROBBERY – 1924 CLIFTON AVE – G &G CARWASH 1153 HRS

Both armed w/unknown typed handguns and left business unknown direction.
On Friday, December 02, 2016 at 1153 hours Rockford Police Officers responded to G & G Carwash located at 1924 Clifton Ave in reference to an Armed Robbery to the business. Upon arrival, officers were advised two black male suspects confronted three persons working at the business and demanded money. The suspects took the wallets of two of the persons inside of the business but the third person managed to exit the business to notify the police. Neither of the three persons were injured. This is an on going investigation.
Just before 12:30 there was an armed robbery at a barber shop.
In the area of 7th st and 15th ave.

The location is in the 1500 block of 7th. 2 Male blacks wearing dark clothing last seen in a black or dark green vehicle that was occupied by approx. 7 suspects. Black grand prix with tinted windows is also possibly involved. Last seen on 15th ave westbound.
On Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 1217 hours, Rockford Police Officers responded to Top-Notch Cutz located at 1535 7th St in reference to an Armed Robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant and several customers who were inside of the business during the course of the incident which was later determined to be an Aggravated Assault. The victim left the scene prior to officers arrival. Preliminary investigations indicate two black males entered the business and one of them was armed with a handgun. The armed suspect approached an adult black male customer and pointed a handgun at the customer. The suspects left the business shortly after the assault. Possible suspect vehicles are a dark green BMW SUV and dark gray sedan with tinted windows. This investigation is still on going.
Around 8:46 am this morning the Rockford Fire Department were dispatched to the Buffalo Wild Wings at 6275 E State St. Scanner traffic is saying the restaurant is beginning to fill up with smoke. The HVAC unit was turned on and began smoking. They are evacuating the business. Rockford Fire Department is en route.
Yesterday was a pretty violent day in the Rockford area.

On November 5th., 2016, at 8:29 PM, the Rockford Police Department responded to the Equator Tan at 3246 S. Alpine Rd. for an Armed Robbery. Upon arrival officers met with the employee of the business who advised shortly before calling the police an armed suspect had entered the premises and robbed the establishment. The suspect took money from the cash register and personal property belonging to the employee. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area southbound on foot. The suspect is described as a 20-30 year old white male, 6’0 in height, and weighing 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, blue bandanna, and black pants. He was armed with a black handgun. A K-9 Unit from the Loves Park Police Department responded to assist.
At the time of this post there was no additional details.
Around 3 pm today several emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of Business 20 and Distillery rd in Boone County. Scanner traffic is saying a vehicle crashed into a pole. Injuries were being reported.

On October 28th at 5:28 pm Rockford Police responded to an aggravated battery with a knife incident at Wicked Hair Garage located at 4520 E. State Street. 2 unknown Hispanic males with their faces covered with masks confronted an employee in the business and cut him with a knife. The suspects then fled the business on foot possibly to an unknown type vehicle. The employee suffered non life threatening injuries and is being treated at a local hospital.
Just before 5:30 pm tonight several emergency personnel were dispatched to 4520 E State st at Wicked Hair garage in reference to a robbery to a business and stabbing. A victim was stabbed multiple times during the armed robbery to the business.
No suspect information, due to the RPD being encrypted.
Update: Thanks to the UN-ENCRYPTED airwaves of the ISP we were able to get the suspect information. 2 males in a green extended cab truck.

On Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 at approximately 0026 hours, officers responded to Fas Mart, 3302 11th St in reference to an Attempted Armed Robbery. The cashier on duty advised she was cleaning a machine when the black male suspect walked in through the main entrance. The suspect had a black semi-automatic handgun in one hand, as he jumped over the front counter. The cashier advised as soon as she saw the weapon, she started screaming and ran into a cooler which led to a back door, where she exited the store. The cashier advised that when she yelled, the suspect immediately fled the store through the front door. The suspect ran southbound through the parking lot. It does not appear at this time that anything was taken. The cashier was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9″ with a medium build. He was wearing a blue hoody (which was up) with white writing down both sleeves. There is no further description.
Around 10 PM tonight Rockford fire department were dispatch for an auto accident on 7th Street at the quick mart. Scanner traffic is saying there’s an automobile accident at this location and injuries are being reported at the time the dispatch. Unconfirmed reports are saying a baby was inside the vehicle . The cause of the accident is under investigation

Around 8 am this morning the Loves Park Fire Department were dispatched to the 6500 block of E Riverside in reference to a structure fire. There are multiple businesses at the structure. They have toned out a MABAS box 12 to the 2nd level and several area fire departments are en route to assist. Still developing.
Update: The fire is in the Hachi Hachi Japanese Express. The state fire marshal is en route to the scene.
