A Rockford bank was robbed Wednesday around 11:40 am. 

A suspect robbed the Chase Bank at N Main and W Riverside.
3699 N Main.

Suspect is described as a black male, approx. 6 foot, wearing a black knit hat, dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, a white surgical mask, white shoes and black gloves. Approx.  25 to 35 years old. Armed with a gun.

No injuries were reported.

Police are offering a $1K reward for information.

We sat on this story a little bit to see if RPD or the local news would post any information on this. Neither has, so we are going to post it.

Sources are reporting a man has robbed an employee at a Rockford bank.

It happened  at the US Bank at 1107 E State st.

Suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing and a brown ski mask. Armed with a gun.  The suspect then fled the bank on foot. He was seen running down Charles st.

Police are searching the area, but the suspect is still on the loose.

RPD is investigating an attempted bank robbery shortly before 4 pm at the US Bank in the 3200 block of 11th St.

No one hurt.

Suspect fled without obtaining any currency

Suspect is a male black, 30’s, 6’0, thin build, blond wig, gray jumpsuit, armed with a handgun. Last seen in a dark gray vehicle.

Suspect is believed to be on foot in the area, police have a perimeter setup and a police K-9 assisting.

Cold Case of Natasha Cleary and her 2 young sons

 

Natasha Cleary and her two young sons Marquwon Owens, 12, and Katarion Friar, 2 were brutally murdered in April 2011 at their house on Canterbury Lane.

Officials said they died as a result of gun shot wounds.

After the murders the suspect(s) set the house on fire.

According to the Coroner’s report, “The autopsy did not show any soot in their trachea or lungs…they were all dead before the fire.“

And then later on the suspect tried to use her debit card at the ATM at Northwest Bank, 3106 N. Rockton Road.

Rockford Scanner™: Man Robs A Local Bank Earlier Today, Police Arrest Him Short Time Later



 

 

 

On Tuesday 08/07/2018 at approximately 2:04 p.m. the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a hold-up alarm at Holcomb Bank 400 E. IL Rt 38 Creston, IL. Information received indicated a male subject wearing a black hat, Chicago Bears jersey with a bandage on his face obtained an undisclosed amount of United States currency and fled the location on foot.

During the course of the investigation, a Deputy recognized the suspect from previous contacts. William Wayne Clark II was arrested for Robbery a class 2 felony. Clark was transported and housed at the Ogle County Jail.

Clark will appear before an Ogle County Judge on Wednesday 08/08/2018.
