Rockford Scanner™: Another Trailer On Fire, Several Fire Departments En Route




Sources are reporting another trailer is fully engulfed.

It happened just before midnight tonight.

Blackhawk FD were dispatched to the 700 block of Gold River for a structure fire.  When they arrived on scene the trailer was fully engulfed.

Several area fire departments were en route to assist.

Still developing.

Note: This is the same area where several fires have been recently. A local firefighter (Brandon Cox) was arrested recently for allegedly setting several trailers on fire in that same area.

Rockford Scanner™: Trailer on Fire, Fully Engulfed. MABAS Toned Out




Sources are reporting a fully engulfed structure fire.

It happened around 3:50 am this morning near S Main and Gold River.

Note: This is the same area a local firefighter was arrested for allegedly setting several trailers on fire recently.

There is a trailer fully engulfed.  They have toned out a MABAS and several area fire departments are en route.

Unknown if the trailer is occupied.

Rockford Scanner™: Sources are reporting an arson at a Rockford School




Sources are reporting an arson at a Rockford School.

Sources said yesterday around 11 am, a student set fire to a bathroom at Auburn High School.

Unknown on injuries. Unknown if the student was detained or charged.

Rockford Public School has not released any information.

RFD & RPD have confirmed a fire call there, but did not release any details.

Rockford Scanner™: Woman Arrested For Starting A Fire At A Rockford Strip Mall




Sources are reporting a woman has been arrested for arson in Rockford.

The alleged suspect is Rosie Bailey. RPD officers witnessed her standing alone in the corner of the strip mall at 917 School st. When a short time later a fire began where she was standing back in March.

RPD took her into custody and charged her with arson and criminal damage to property.  She is scheduled to go to court 4/25/2019 09:00

Rockford Scanner™: Local Firefighter Charged With Multiple Counts Of Arson




UPDATE:  Police have charged him with 2 more counts of arson in Rockford.

Garages in the 1700 block of S. 5th St. in Rockford on Feb. 28 and March 20. , he was arrested for allegedly setting these fires also.


Officials said he has been charged in these fire incidents and said more charges may be pending.

  • January 17th in the 1000 block of Iroquois ave
  • Two trailer fires on Jan. 27th and Feb. 3rd in the 1500 block of Linda ave.
  • Jan. 3rd a dumpster in the 4000 block of Prairie ave

Police said they are investigating and think he is involved in several more, and said more charges might be pending. But couldn’t say more because it is an open investigation. Officials said he was a firefighter at Blackhawk Fire Dept. but released him after he was arrested.


Sources are reporting a local firefighter has been charged with multiple counts of arson.

Police have arrested 21-year-old Brandon Cox on multiple counts of arson.
He is booked in the Winnebago County Jail on $25,000 bail and his next court date is 3/25/2019 at 1:30 pm.

There have been several fires in the Blackhawk Fire Department District,  … We been told his charges stems from some of these fires. The same district he was reported to be a firefighter in.  It is not yet clear if he is still a firefighter now or not.  Officials have yet to release any information on this.

Suspects threw a moltov cocktail at the residence in the 1500 block of Burton in Rockford.

The living room is on fire, they are trying to evacuate.

No suspect description at the time of posting this.

Rockford Police had an Arson: Explosive Device call at 425 E State st.

That is the Rockford City Hall building.

It happened around 9:41 am this morning.

No other information at this time.

 

 








Rockford Scanner™: Three 7 Year Old’s Start Fire In Rockford, Trying to start a another fire while fleeing from emergency personnel



 

 

Around 6:15 PM The Rockford fire department were responding to a fire call on the west side.

A dumpster was on fire near Central Avenue.

The Rockford fire department arrived on scene and confirmed a fire.

While I and seen they came across the alleged suspects. Three black male suspects around seven years old.

They were running from the scene and trying to start a another fire while the Rockford fire department was watching them flee.

They are waiting for the Rockford Police Department. They lost sight of at least one of the alleged suspects.

Today there has been several vehicle fires in the Rockford area.

The latest vehicle that is on fire, is near Genoa st in Rockford. That happened shortly after 5 pm today.

Rockford Scanner™: Rockford Fire Department Battling Another Abandoned Structure Fire




 

 

 

Details are minimal right now.

Rockford Fire Department is battling another abandoned structure fire in Rockford

This fire scene is in the 900 block of Kishwaukee st.  (Just north of Behr Metal, on the West side of the road)

The structure has a Red X on it, so it is safe to assume it is abandoned .

No reports of injuries at this time.  RFD went into defensive mode.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Kishwaukee st is closed down North of Broadway, South of 3rd. So avoid Kishwaukee st
