Source  sent us the following:

“There was a robbery downtown this morning about 5 a.m. my friend was walking to the bus stop to catch the bus to go to work

He was jumped by two black men with hoodies on ans armed with  a gun

They robbed him. The guy said please don’t shoot me just take the money , which was about $80

Apparently after he had paid his bills that he had saved for his groceries

Luckily he had his phone in his pocket and they didn’t check that!!

He said he called the police and they said there’s nothing they could do about it but take a report!

Nobody should have to go through this trying to go to work…

This is the second one I know of now that has been robbed the other one was slashed remember?

This happened on 2nd Street one block from Walnut Street around 5am

Please post this information to warn people!! Thanks”

Editors note: RPD is silent on this and did not even log it in their call log
