On 03-03-2016 at 2:54 PM Officers responded to the area of S. 6th St. and 4th Ave. in reference to multiple calls of shots being fired in the area. On arrival Officers observed a Black Pontiac Grand Prix which sustained heavy front end damage from hitting a tree, and the vehicle been struck by several bullets. The vehicle was unoccupied, and several witnesses informed officers the occupants of the Pontiac Grand Prix had fled the scene west bound.
There was a second vehicle located at the intersection of S. 6th St. and 5th Ave. The second vehicle had a broken drivers side window which appeared to have been struck by a bullet, and this vehicle had drivers side front end damage. The second vehicle collided with the Pontiac during the incident. The driver of this vehicle sustained cuts to the face area from the broken glass, and she was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Witnesses to the incident described a silver possible Chevy Impala (suspect vehicle), occupied by 3-4 black males, drove along side the Black Pontiac Grand Prix, and unknown occupants from Chevy Impala discharged a handgun towards the black Pontiac Grand Prix. Suspect vehicle was last seen on 5th Ave.
Officers located (2) individuals near 4th St. and 4th Ave. Both of these individuals were determined to have been the persons who fled the Black Pontiac. One of these individuals believed he had been shot during the incident. He was transported to a local hospital where he was found to be not injured.
Just before midnight a broadcast came over the scanner in reference to a vehicle that fled from officers in the area of Preston & Conklin. the vehicle is described as a 2001 black olds aurora 4 door. Last seen eastbound on Preston
Around 1:30 am this morning an officer attempted to stop a vehicle.
The officer said they were attempting to stop the vehicle for minor traffic violations when the vehicle fled from the police.
They chased the vehicle for awhile and even thought about putting the stop sticks out. Around 1:37 am the Sargent told the officers to terminate the chase.
They located the vehicle at 11000 block of Deacon drive a short time later, it was abandoned. They are going to get a police K-9 to track.
Update: One person in custody
Around 1 am this morning officers attempted to stop another vehicle near Montague and 20. Headed eastbound. The vehicle was doing over 100 mph on 20. The vehicle is a dark colored SUV and the plate comes back to an Ian Holding. The officer terminated this chase also.

This is the 3rd chase they have terminated in the last few minutes.
Around 12:53 am this morning officers were chasing another vehicle, possibly one that fled from them earlier. The vehicle was doing approx. 70 MPH across the Morgan st bridge. The vehicle ran the red light at Main and the officer terminated the chase.
Around 12:41 am this morning an officer had another vehicle flee from them. The vehicle is a White 4 door with Iowa plates. They officers terminated the chase near Huffman and Younge.
Around 11:30 pm tonight an officer was chasing a Black SUV with a plate of Z317812. Police are chasing the vehicle near Cunningham doing approx. 90 MPH headed southbound. They have terminated the chase near the Lowes Distribution center. Last seen on Springfield.
On Wednesday, November 30, at about 8:23 AM, an officer was dispatched to the area of Torch Lite & Trafford, after a call was received about a reckless driver squealing his tires on the street.
As the first officer arrived in the area, he was able to find enough periodic squeal marks on the pavement to lead him over a mile through the subdivision to the 5900 block of Candlewood, where he found a vehicle sitting on the side of the road.
The vehicle was running & there was a person sleeping in the drivers seat of the vehicle. The driver, Adam A. Wasson (28) of Loves Park, was charged with reckless driving, squealing tires, driving while under the influence of alcohol & driving while under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol content of .08 or more.
The defendant is considered innocent, unless proven guilty in a Court of Law.
On 11/29/16 at approximately 5pm officers of the Janesville Police Department were dispatched to a disturbance at 1510 E Holmes St. On arrival the occupants of the home refused to answer the door. One officer observed a male he recognized to be Tyler E Clark through a window.
Clark was wanted by the Janesville Police regarding a vehicle pursuit that took place in August of this year. Clark also had numerous other warrants through the Beloit Police Department and Rock County Sherriff’s Office. A search warrant was drafted and signed by a judge authorizing the officers to enter the residence and take Clark into custody.
Clark was located hiding in an upstairs closet and taken into custody without incident. The adult resident of the home, Tamisha D Rainey, was the owner of the vehicle used in the August vehicle pursuit and was warned at that time that Clark was a wanted felon and that assisting him in avoiding arrest would constitute a criminal violation of harboring a felon.
Rainey was arrested for harboring a felon.
Both subjects were held at the Rock County Jail for court.

The suspect got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, but officers caught the suspect. This happened near Barton. The vehicle was stolen and they also recovered a gun. The vehicle was registered to an address on Seminary
