Rockford Scanner™: Rockford Business Robbed At gunpoint





 

On Thursday August 22nd, 2019 at 9:05 pm Rockford Police Officers responded to the Family Dollar store at 3124 N. Rockton to investigate an Armed Robbery that had just occurred.

Officers spoke with employees and witnesses who advised 3 black male suspects had entered the store and demanded money.

2 of the 3 suspects were armed. The employees and witnesses advised all three suspects were masked. The suspects left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area on foot.

No employees or witnesses were injured.

Rockford Scanner™: Bank Robbery, Still Developing




 

Sources are reporting a bank robbery.

It happened at the First National Bank near 1725 S State in Belvidere around 1 pm. 

Suspect fled in a Black SUV

Suspect is described as a dark skinned male, Thin build, 6’0, dark clothing.

Unconfirmed reports are saying there is a suspicious package inside the bank, and it was evacuated.  A perimeter was setup.  Rockford Bomb Squad is en route along with the Hazmat. 

 








 

Rockford Scanner™: Victim beaten During A Robbery in Rockford




 

Sources are reporting a victim was beaten during a robbery in Rockford around 8:30 pm on the East side.

It happened in the area of 23rd ave and 15th on the East side. Reports of the suspects beating the victim during the robbery.

Update from RPD:

On 08/15/2019 at about 1641 hours Officers responded to 3201 Auburn Street, Boost Mobil in reference to an Armed Robbery. Upon arrival officers were informed by employees that three black males entered the store and robbed them. One of the suspects was armed with a black handgun. Suspects took several cell phones and cash. Suspects fled in a dark colored Chevrolet Suburban. Nobody was injured in this incident.

Sources are reporting a local business was just robbed. 

It happened at the Boost Mobil on Auburn st. 

The suspects fled in a black vehicle. 

Suspects are described as a black female driver 20’s, 3 black males 20’s, 6’0, 145 lbs ski masks and bandana and dark clothing and armed with a gun.  

 








 

Rockford Scanner™: Scene In Loves Park, Possible Robbery




A source from the business has contacted RS and told us that no employees were at the business. The scene was reportedly next door.

Sources are reporting a scene in Loves Park that has numerous emergency personnel on scene.

It happened around 9:45 pm tonight at the Advanced Auto on N Second st.  That is near N Second and Clifford. 

We have been told numerous emergency personnel are on scene and it appears that the business may have been robbed. Medical was called for an employee at the business, but unknown why. 

But as you know the police encrypted and have not confirmed anything and have not released any information on the incident. 

 








 

Rockford Scanner™: Couple Of Armed Robberies, Police Investigating




 

Police are investigating a couple of armed robberies that happened recently.  

  • 3500 block of Elm st
  • 600 block of Score st
  • 10th st and 16th ave

No suspect information.   We have been told there were injuries at least one of these scenes. But police have yet to confirm this. 

 








 

Rockford Scanner™: Violent Home Invasion, At Least One Shooting Victim




Sources are reporting a violent home invasion in Rockford with at least one person that has been shot. 

It happened around 9:45 pm tonight in the 1900 block of S 6th st.

Reports of a violent home invasion. Shots rang out and at least one person has been shot.  It is unclear at this time if the shooting victim is the victim from the home invasion or the suspect.

No other information at this time. Still developing.

UPDATE:  Suspects are in a  Black 2005 Grand Prix with a plate of AX32712  that comes back to an address on 9th st. #1 White male, 5’8, 150 lbs, dark clothing armed with a gun  #2 black male 6’1 170 lbs. Dark clothing and a mask and a gun.  Last seen northbound on Kishwaukee.

The victim is a man approx. 65 years old and was shot in the arm.

Sources are reporting a robbery in Loves Park. 

It happened overnight at 4800 block of N 2nd st in Loves Park at the Clayton House Motel.  We have been told it was to the business, but police have yet to confirm that.  The suspect is a black male, wearing all dark clothing and a ski mask, armed with a gun. Last seen running from the Clayton House Motel

Sources are reporting a scene on the East side that involves several police officers. It happened in the area of 16th ave and 15th st.  Several police officers are working a scene.

As you know police are encrypted and have yet to release any information on this incident. So it is unclear what exactly has happened. We have been told it was robbery incident, but as you know we can not confirm it.
