Sources are reporting another robbery and also shots fired in Rockford.

Another robbery in Rockford around 10:30 pm in the 1200 block of 7th st.

Shots were fired near the following locations: 2700 block of Prial ave and also in the 2900 block of Halsted.

We have been told there are shooting victims that self transported to a local ER.

RPD has confirmed weapons violations, but no shooting victims yet.

No suspect information, due to the encryption.

Aggravated Discharge: On Saturday, February 2, 2019, shortly after 7:00 a.m., Rockford Police officers responded to the area of Daisy Avenue and Regan Street for shots fired.

Officers located a home in the 1500 block of Daisy Avenue that had been struck several times by gunfire. One female sustained minor injuries from debris caused by the gunfire, but she refused medical treatment. The suspects involved in the incident are both described as white males.

The apparent shooter is 25 years old, 5’9”, 200 pounds with short dark hair and a tattoo under his right eye. The second suspect is 27-28 years old, about 6’0”, 180 pounds with shoulder-length, light-colored dreadlocks.

  • Theft from an automobile and the 600 block of 15th Ave.
  • Mob action in the 2800 block of Knight Avenue
  • Theft of labor services in the 300 block of Cameron Avenue
  • Battery in the 5600 block of E. State St.
  • Burglary on Greendale Drive
  • Battery in the 2800 block of 22nd St.
  • Weapons violation at 420 W. State Street which is the Public Safety Building
  • Attempted burglary in the 2500 block of Kilburn
  • Attempted arson in the 4200 block of Auburn Street
  • Burglary in the 1700 block of 17th St.
  • Recovered a stolen vehicle in the 4000 block of Auburn Street
  • Theft from a vehicle in the 2300 block of Douglas Street
  • Theft from a vehicle and 2400 block of Shelley Drive
  • Weapons violation in the 1400 block of 26th Street

No winter storm can stop the criminals in Rockford.

Last night there were a few violent crime calls.

Around 1 am there was many emergency personnel working a scene at 3725 E State st, at Taqueria San Jose. Sources told us it was a shooting scene. RPD confirmed working an “In Progress Person” call.  As you know, they have labeled shootings, as “In Progress Person” in the past.  RPD has yet to confirm the shooting though, only an “In Progress Person”

Gunshots were heard near the following areas.
2400 block of 11th st and also the 2200 block of S 6th st.
RPD confirms weapons violations near these locations.

Home invasion in the 600 block of Woodlawn.
RPD confirmed an “In progress property: Home Invasion/Burglary. ”

As you know the RPD are encrypted, and have yet to release any information on these calls or suspect information.

Sources were reporting they heard shots fired in the area of Alpine and Highcrest around 10:30 am this morning.

Not long after hearing the gunshots, they saw several officers in the area. At the time of writing this, it sounds like it is only a shots fired call and no injuries have been reported.

RPD has confirmed a weapons violation.

No suspect information.

It happened around 7:45 pm in the area of Chestnut and Webster

No suspect information.

RPD did not log this call in the call logs.

Unrelated: Rockford Police were investigating another shots fired call on Eagle Drive around 4:20 pm.  We been told there was a possible victim, but RPD has yet to release any information on either of these incidents.

Rockford Scanner™: Apartment Complex Struck By Gunfire in Rockford

On 12/30/2018 at 5:30 PM Rockford Police Officers responded to 1200 Auburn Court, Rockford, Illinois reference several calls of shots fired.

While officers were on scene, a resident at 1230 Auburn Court #3, Rockford, Illinois advised that their apartment had been struck by gun fire.

Officers found that apartment #3 had been struck twice by gun fire. The victim suffered no physical injuries as a result of this shooting. There was no suspect developed during this investigation. ID Unit processed the scene.

Sources are reporting they were at the District Bar at 205 W State st when they heard several gunshots just before 2 am.

It is not yet clear if the shots happened at the bar or in the downtown area nearby.

RPD has confirmed a weapons violation at the District Bar address, but did not provide any other information.

We been told no injuries, but several people were frightened.
