On Saturday December 15, 2018 at 1750 hours, Rockford Police received a ShotSpotter alert for two gunshots in the area of 426 Irving Avenue, Rockford, Illinois. Rockford Police responded to this area and located 424 Irving Avenue, Rockford, Illinois had been struck by gunfire.

Rockford Police Officers located spent casings in the street. The residence was occupied at the time of this shooting but no one was hurt. A black vehicle was observed leaving the scene. No suspect information was made available.

Sources are reporting another shooting incident in Rockford.

This one happened just before 10 pm near the area of Andrews and Alliance.

RPD does confirm a weapons violation at this location.

It is not clear if there were any victims.  RPD was at the residence on the Northwest corner of the intersection. It is not yet know if the house was struck by gunfire. But RPD was at that house.

For obvious reasons (encryption) no suspect information is available

On 12/8/18 at around 2:30A.M. Rockford Police responded to the 600 block of Trenton Ave in reference to shots fired in the area.  Upon arrival officers located one home that was struck by gunfire multiple times.  The home was occupied at the time but no injuries were reported.

No suspect information is available at this time.  This is an ongoing investigation and  anyone with information is encouraged to call the Rockford Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

Shooting Victim in Rockford

Sources reporting numerous emergency personnel on scene of a shooting victim in Rockford.

It happened just after 6 pm in the 3300 block of Sun Valley Terrace
(Near North Town Mall)

Reports of at least one person that has been shot near this location.

We been told the injuries are believed to be life threatening, but not confirmed because the encryption.

Again, no suspect information, due to the encryption.

On 11/15/18 around 6:10 pm Rockford Police Officers responded to the 900 block of S. 3rd St in reference to a report of gunshots being fired.

Officers located a residence struck by gunfire in the 900 block of S. 3rd St. No injuries were reported. The suspects were described as black males.

This is as ongoing investigation. Anyone with information can call the Rockford Police at 815-966-2900

On 11/11/18 at 9:37 pm Rockford Police Officers responded to the 2100 and 2200 block of Lawndale Ave for a report of gunshots fired and a house struck by gunfire.

Officers located two residences, which were occupied, to be struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.

Rockford Scanner®: Double Shooting Victim Scene in Rockford, CPR Being Performed

On 11/11/18 at 0359 hours Rockford Police Officers responded to the 900 block of N. Church St for a shooting victim. It was learned that the victim met the suspects in the area to sell them a cell phone.  The victim entered the suspect’s vehicle where he handed them the cell phone.  One suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and the victim fought the suspect.  During the fight the victim was shot.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects were described as black males, in their 20’s, 5’10”- 6’, one was armed with a black handgun. The suspect vehicle was described as a newer black sedan.

Sources are reporting another shooting victim in Rockford.

Last night was a bloody violent night in Rockford once again.

This shooting scene happened in the 900 block of Church  in Rockford.

It happened around 4 am this morning.

At least one person was confirmed shot, not yet known on the severity of the injuries. No suspect information, due to the police encryption.

Shots Fired During A Home Invasion, 3 Year Old Victim Inside The Residence

On 11/7/2018 at around 11:12 PM, officers from the Rockford Police Department responded to a residence, in the 3200 block of Orleans Avenue, in regards to a Home Invasion.

Officers met with the occupants of the home, a 37 year old female and her two children, who were 17 and 3 years of age.

They reported that 2 or 3 suspects, who were armed with at least one firearm, forced their way into the home. During the ensuing confrontation one of the suspects fired several gunshots inside of the residence and all suspects fled the scene.

No injuries were reported during this incident. The suspects were described as black males, wearing all dark clothing, between 18-21 years of age, between 5’08”-6’01” tall and having thin builds.

We have gotten numerous reports of shots fired all over the city, in the last 24 hours.  Local police have confirmed several weapons violations in the last 24 hours.  Unknown if anyone has been struck by the gunfire.

There was one report of an aggravated battery, that is possibly a shooting victim in the 1100 block of Bruce st just beofre 12:30 am.

As you know, the police are encrypted. So there is no suspect information on none of these. It is safe to assume the suspects were able to get away scott free and are still roaming the streets.
