On 11/29/16 at approximately 5pm officers of the Janesville Police Department were dispatched to a disturbance at 1510 E Holmes St. On arrival the occupants of the home refused to answer the door. One officer observed a male he recognized to be Tyler E Clark through a window.

Clark was wanted by the Janesville Police regarding a vehicle pursuit that took place in August of this year. Clark also had numerous other warrants through the Beloit Police Department and Rock County Sherriff’s Office. A search warrant was drafted and signed by a judge authorizing the officers to enter the residence and take Clark into custody.

Clark was located hiding in an upstairs closet and taken into custody without incident. The adult resident of the home, Tamisha D Rainey, was the owner of the vehicle used in the August vehicle pursuit and was warned at that time that Clark was a wanted felon and that assisting him in avoiding arrest would constitute a criminal violation of harboring a felon.

Rainey was arrested for harboring a felon.

Both subjects were held at the Rock County Jail for court.
