On 5/27/18 at around 11:50 P.M. Rockford Police Officers responded to the 300 block of N. Henrietta Ave in reference to a home invasion.  Two suspects, both armed with handguns entered the home and demanded money from the residents.  One of the suspects struck one of the residents in the head with a handgun.  The victim then gave the suspects his wallet which contained an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspects then left the scene on foot.

The victim suffered a minor injury.

Suspects were described as two black males in their mid 20’s.  Both around 6’0″ and 170lbs.  One wore a black hoody and the other a gray hoody.

Rockford Scanner™: Auto Accident With Injuries, Possibly A Police Chase Resulting in The Accident




Update: Sources are reporting the police chase originated near the Mcdonalds/Walmart on Northridge around 10:38 pm. The alleged vehicle fled from police.  There was an auto accident at State and Alpine, which is believed to be related to the chase. That happened around 10:51 pm. RPD confirmed an accident at this location around this time. Then there was an accident near Broadway and 9th (RPD confirmed this accident as well) that is believed to be related to the incident.  And also an accident at Broadway and 7th.  Sources said the alleged suspect vehicle was Blue in color, possibly an Impala. 

RPD has yet to release any information on this.  RPD did confirm the accidents, but would not say if it was related to the police chase. When RPD releases information, we will update this.

There is an auto accident with injuries in Rockford. 

It happened in the area of Broadway and 7th st around 11 pm. 

We been told by sources this was a police chase, that resulted in the auto accident. 

We can not yet confirm this.  We can confirm there is an accident with injuries near this intersection and that several police officers are on the scene and have the area blocked off. So please avoid the area for awhile.

Rockford Scanner™: Sources Reporting An Off Duty Police Officer Beat Up A Victim During A Concert In Loves Park

Several sources told us about a fight last night that involved an off duty police officer. 

It happened at Neighbors Bar and Grill at 7745 Forest Hills around 11:15 Saturday night. 

We can confirm there was a battery call at Neighbors around 11:15 pm. 

Sources said the off duty officer allegedly beat up a person. Then fled the scene before the on duty police officers arrived on scene. The victim was beaten up so bad, medical had to be dispatched to the scene according to witnesses.

A little after 6 pm tonight sources were reporting an aggravated battery in Rockford. 

It happened on N Rockton in Rockford. 

A man was beaten in the head, with a hammer. 

No suspect information, due to the encryption.

Around 3:30 pm today, several emergency personnel were responding to a fire in Rockford.

It was originally dispatched as a dumpster on fire at the RPS bus barn area.

While en route, it was updated and said the Aramark building was now on fire.

No other information is available at this time.

Around 4:45 pm today numerous emergency personnel were dispatched to a serious accident in Rockford 

It happened in the area of the 2100 block of Elmwood. 

There is an auto accident near this location. 

Multiple injuries are being reported.  Several ambulances have been dispatched to the scene. 

A Vehicle has hit a power pole, and caused a power outage in the area. 

Sounds like at least one person was ejected.

Rockford Scanner™: Aggravated Battery in Rockford, Police Are Investigating




UPDATE: Sources are reporting that the following arrests may have been involved in this incident.  The following three people were arrested earlier today for aggravated battery to a peace officer.  Sources say that it is related to this incident. But we can not yet confirm this. 

 

 

 

 


Details are minimal. 

Around 11:47 am this morning, emergency personnel were dispatched for an aggravated battery in Rockford. 

It happened in the 1900 block of Midway. 

No other information is available.

We thought the fireworks were over with, and I stopped the live video.

Shortly afterwards, they lit off more fireworks for the grand finale.

During the finale, a very large explosion happened.
