Rockford Scanner™: Victim Shot At A Rockford Club, Police Investigating

We been told the victim was a female.

On Sunday, May 5th, at around 1:35 A.M., a Rockford man was the victim of an Aggravated Battery with a Firearm when he was struck by a gunshot.

It happened at the Aragona Club at 320 Kent in Rockford.

The victim was transported via ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening wound, and was being held at the hospital for observation.

There was no Suspect description available at the time of this entry. This is an ongoing investigation.

Rockford Scanner™: Small Fire In A Residence in Loves Park




UPDATE: Around 11 AM this morning, several emergency personnel were on scene of a structure fire at the same residence that caught on fire just hours before (See below) . This time it appears to be a total loss. Unknown on injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The State Fire Marshall is en route to the scene.


Sources are reporting a fire in Loves Park.

It happened shortly after 1 am in the 5200 block of Rockville Circle.

That is located in the Forest Hills Village.

Reports of a fire in the kitchen area of the residence. It was quickly contained. Unknown on injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Rockford Scanner™: Scene on The East Side




Sources are reporting a scene on the East side this morning.

It happened around 6 am this morning near Kishwaukee and Broadway.

Numerous emergency personnel were on scene.

RPD said it was “Other Disorderly” and an “Aggravated Assault”

Rockford Scanner™: Scene on the East Side, Possible Dangerous Situation




Sources are reporting a scene on the East side.

It happened around 10 pm near Harrison and Mulford.

Sources said numerous police are working a scene near this location.

Reports of an armed suspect in the area and police have a perimeter setup in the area.  No info on the suspect description at this time.

Still developing. We been told this is a very dangerous and active scene, so please avoid the area for awhile

Rockford Scanner™: Several Officers Working A Scene On The East Side




Sources are reporting numerous officers working a scene on the East side.

It happened around 12:30 am near Horton and Reed.

Reports of numerous police working a scene.

At the time of writing this, we have heard conflicting reports on what may have happened. So to be safe, all we will say right now is to avoid the area because several officers are working a scene. We will try to update this, as more information becomes available.

UPDATE: Sources said it originated as a traffic stop and then a suspect fled from police.

Rockford Scanner™: Over 20 Officers Working A Scene in Rockford




 

UPDATE:
RPD confirmed an Aggravated Battery
at 3710 Preston at 6:17 pm. 


Sources are reporting over 20 officers working a scene on the West side.

It is in the area of Preston st on the West side.

Reports of over 20 police officers working a scene there.

Medical was also on the scene.  Unknown why.

It is not yet clear what happened and RPD has yet to release information.

Rockford Scanner™: Scene In Machesney Park, Possible Death




Sources are reporting several emergency personnel working a scene in Machesney Park. It happened this morning in the 1600 block of Minns dr.

Crime scene unit and numerous officers were on scene.

We have been told this was a dead body.

But as you know the police are encrypted and have yet to release information. So we can not confirm this.

According to the call logs, it was a medical assist call

No other information at this time.

Rockford Scanner™: Officers With Shields And Rifles At A Scene in Machesney Park




Sources are reporting a scene in Machesney Park.

It happened around 3:45 pm today near Crystal drive and the Olsen park school area in Machesney Park.

Source sent us the following: “There are Sheriff Deputies and Loves Park Officers on Crystal Drive in Machesney Park standing in front of several houses with their long rifles and shields out, but they are parked down the block and do not have the street blocked”

UPDATE: Sources said a man was suicidal and posted photos online of a gun and threatening to kill the police.  Police are there to check on the mans well being. The scene is in the 1100 block of Crystal Drive.

Rockford Scanner™: Female Shot At least One Time in Rockford, Still Developing




Sources are reporting a shooting victim in Rockford.

It happened just after 1 am in the 500 block of Webster ave.

Reports of a female that has been shot near this location.

The female is approx. 32 years old and is reported to have been shot at least once in the left breast area.

No suspect information at this time.
