Rockford Scanner™: Numerous Police Working A Scene, Possible Robbery


Sources are reporting a scene last night around 9:30 pm. It happened in the area of Alpine and American.  Reports of numerous police on scene and several more working a perimeter. At least one police K-9 unit was also assisting.  It happened at the gas station near this location.  We have been told there was a robbery and someone fled. But as you know police are encrypted and have not released any information. 



Rockford Scanner™: Sources Reporting A Home Invasion in Rockford


Sources are reporting a scene in the 1000 block of Kishwaukee. It happened around 2 am.  

Sources said this was a home invasion call.

RPD said in their call log as an Other Disorderly Conduct
(Which in the past the police have labeled violent crimes under this code in their call logs in the past. )

RPD has not released any information on this.

Rockford Scanner™: Another Call Not Logged Into The Police Call Logs, Sources Said Another Armed Robbery.

UPDATE: RPD released information on this incident

Sources were reporting several officers working a scene on the East side around 1 am near Southworth and Hamilton. 

Note: There was a robbery in the area earlier, near Sawyer. (CLICK HERE) 

I went to work the scene and saw the police transport van, and several officers on scene.  

It is unclear what happened.   We were told there was another robbery near this location. And sounds like the suspects are possibly on a robbery spree. But RPD has not confirmed this.

They have not logged this call into their police call logs. 

So it unknown what happened.

RPD is encrypted and have not released any information on this scene. 


Rockford Scanner™: Approx. 20 Officers Working A Scene in Rockford


RPD call log shows this as an assist (backup) call.  Rockford PD and Winnebago County Sheriff were on scene.  Winnebago County Sheriff has nothing in their call logs on this call.

We can confirm the scene is near Rockton and Winnebago. Several officers are on scene. A U-Haul truck has hit a white vehicle near this area.  RS source Jamie said the alleged suspects jumped out of the moving truck and fled from police, while letting the truck drive on its own. Which appears to have ended up crashing into the white vehicle in the photos.

We were told there was a shooting incident this was related too. But police have not confirmed anything or released any information on this scene, so that part is still unconfirmed.

Unknown if the suspects were taken into custody or if they are still roaming free in the streets of Rockford still.

Original reports said approx. 20 officers were working the scene.
After we posted this many sources said there was way more than 20 officers that were working the scene.

Sources are reporting a scene in Rockford. 

Approx. 20 officers are working a scene on the West side.

Sounds like it might be a perimeter, and they are searching for someone.

We were told shots were fired in the area, and they are searching for the suspects.  But as you know local police are encrypted and have not released any information on the suspects or the incident.

Police are reported to be near the following areas: Acorn, Jefferson, Winnebago, Rockton ave, Kilburn. All in the area and nearby neighborhoods.

Source said: “Some guy stole a U-Haul from Beloit then robbed the marijuana dispensary. They chased him from Beloit to here, he jumped out and ran. They brought the k9s out. They did not find him. But they got all the weed back….And said the possibly know who the alleged suspects are.

No police departments have confirmed this or released any information on this incident.

Sources are reporting a scene on the West side. 

It happened around 10:30 pm near Auburn and Ridge.

Reports of an accident with people arguing.

And possibly a vehicle that is involved in the accident is reported to be on fire.

Unknown on the severity of the injuries.

Rockford Scanner™: Several Emergency Personnel Working A Scene in Loves Park

Sources are reporting a scene in Loves Park. 

It happened around 6 pm near Bright View Drive in Loves Park.

We have been told that there was possibly a fight.  And injuries were being reported. Police have not confirmed anything or released any information.

Rockford Scanner™: Fight At A Rockford Bar, One Victim Transported To The ER

Sources are reporting a fight at a Rockford bar. El Navegante Bar

It happened near 15th ave and Orange, on Rockford’s East side just before 2 am this morning.

One confirmed battery victim. A male approx. 51 years old had facial lacerations and was transported to a local ER.

Unknown on suspect information at this time.

RPD has not released any details on this incident.


Rockford Scanner™: Rollover Accident With Extrication in Rockford


Sources are reporting a rollover accident with extrication needed. It happened around 3 am near Avon and Blaisdell. 

A vehicle has rolled over. Injuries were being reported. Unknown on the severity of the injuries.

Initial reports are saying at least one person was trapped inside the vehicle and extrication was needed. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation. 



Rockford Scanner™: Several Officers & K-9 Working A Scene


Sources are reporting a scene involving several officers and a police K-9. It happened near Parkside.  Reports are saying it appears they are searching for a suspect(s) in the area. They also have a vehicle stopped nearby and are also searching that vehicle as well. No other information at this time. 

Sources updated us and said the suspect is a black male around 20 years old wearing a white shirt, khaki pants.


Rockford Scanner™: Van Crashes Into A Pole in Rockford

Sources were reporting a vehicle hit a pole on Montague in Rockford overnight. 

A van was traveling on Montague when it left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a secondary utility pole.

The pole was snapped and hanging at a slant.

It appears the van was traveling westbound (East on Court st) hit the pole, then went back into the roadway and into oncoming traffic, and up onto the curb and sidewalk, then back into the roadway again ending up approx. near Court st.

There was moderate to heavy damage to the front of the van. Unknown on injuries. I did not see an ambulance while I was at the scene. I saw the van, 2 RPD officers investigating and a Comed truck. A subject was in the back seat of a squad car. Unknown if they were arrested or not.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the RPD
