Sources are reporting a man has fallen at least 3 stories from a roof this morning in Roscoe while trying to install an exhaust fan on a roof.
Source said: “Male in his 30’s fell approximately 35 feet from the roof while installing an exhaust fan on the roof at American Aluminum in Roscoe at 8:30 this morning.
Fire Marshall’s were there for an inspection when it happened. He did not have a safety harness on. When paramedics came, he had an approximate 4′ pool of blood around his head. He’s in bad shape!
A medical helicopter went on standby and was en route to the scene, when they decided to cancel the helicopter and transport via an ambulance, because they needed to rush him to the emergency room because of the severity of the injuries.”
We sat on the story a while waiting for police to release any information on it, and they have yet to do so so we are going to post it.
Multiple police officers from several jurisdictions are on scene near Roscoe. The Rockford crime scene, Rockford SWAT team, and some of even said the bomb squad, and several police officers are all working the scene.
This is located near old River Road and Gleason Road, northeast of that location in the subdivision.
As you know the police are encrypted and they have yet to release any information. So all we can confirm right now is a possible dangerous situation going on near Roscoe.Numerous police officers from several jurisdictions including the SWAT team are working the scene.

On Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at approximately 0630 hours, the Rockton Police Department observed a female in need of assistance in downtown Rockton. The female reported that she had been taken by force from a retail establishment in Rockford by her ex-boyfriend on Tuesday evening. She reported that she was taken to the Sugar River Forest Preserve in rural Winnebago County where she was beaten, strangled and sexually assaulted. The female victim was able to escape from the suspect at a local gas station in Rockton.
Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted Rockton Police and Roscoe Police in taking the suspect into custody after a short pursuit along IL Route 2 and IL Route 75. The suspect fought with Deputies and Officers who were able to safely take him into custody.
Winnebago County Sheriff’s Detectives took over the investigation and after speaking with the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office, charges were authorized and the suspect was lodged in the Winnebago County Jail. The follow person was charged:

Sources are reporting a battery/kidnapping in Rockton this morning.
We sat on this story to see if police would release information on it.
Police have yet to release any information on it, so we are posting it.
It happened just before 7 am in Rockton, near Blackhawk and Main.
Sources said a suspect brutally beat and kidnapped a victim in Rockton. Unknown on the victims status at the time of writing this.
Suspect was last seen near the library in Rockton. Police located the suspect and the suspect fled from police. Police chased the suspect.
Sources said the police were chasing the suspect on Rt 2 southbound, around 90 MPH. But were able to capture him on RT 2 near Blackhawk. (See photos) The police broke out the windows of the vehicle and detained the suspect in the middle of RT 2.
This brings up the next topic: Local police said they were going to be transparent, when encrypting. We feel the police should have at least released some kind of information on this very DANGEROUS incident. But they have yet to do so…

Update: Police have confirmed the kidnapping call but have downplayed it and said it was a “Simple Kidnapping” and that one person was in custody. No other information was released.
