Several sources are reporting several incidents of people “Grinch” stealing packages from peoples porches.
Here are just a few locations that were hit recently:
Around 3:30 pm today a skinny black male over 6 feet tall wearing a gray knit cap, dark jacket and pants, white athletic shoes stole a package in the 400 Block of Dawson Ave. right after UPS delivered it. After my neighbors saw him come through the alley and take the package, they yelled at him and when he ran they followed him, along with calling 911 and he got into a newer black Cadillac with chrome trim and lost the vehicle. We wanted people to be aware of these package thieves and if you see this vehicle, please get a license plate and call 911.
Shortly before 4pm today my wife caught a package thief dead to rights. It occurred in 2200 block of 22nd St. The guy is a white male between 18-20 yrs old skinny build light brown hair in a bun clean shaven wearing a hoodie. Driving a older red or burgundy mini van with faded paint.
