On 12/6/18 at approximately 8:30 PM the Janesville Police Department was investigation thefts from motor vehicles near N. Parker Dr.

Security cameras identified a suspect entering a newer white 4 door vehicle in the parking lot adjacent to the Rock River Brewing Company on N. Parker Dr. Suspects were identified in this incident.

The police department is looking for help identify the owner of the vehicle in the attached photo.

The victims vehicle is the white 4 door car on the top half of the photo.

Rockford Scanner™: Two People Arrested For Drugs After A Search Warrant

Search Warrant/Drug Arrest

On Friday, October 26, 2018 Officers of the Janesville Police Department street crimes unit and patrol division served a search warrant at 431 Madison St. Janesville, Wisconsin. The target of the search warrant was Janmarion Lofton AKA Miami.

Surveillance was conducted prior to the warrant service. Lofton and his girlfriend, Annelisa Martell was observed leaving in a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and they were taken into custody.

Martell had 1.9g of suspected cocaine and 16.7g of suspected Crack Cocaine on her. Lofton had a Suboxone strip on him and cash. The warrant at the house was served, drug paraphernalia, $1083 is US currency, and several electronic devices were seized.

Based on statements Lofton and Martell received the following charges.

Rockford Scanner™: Police Seeking Information On A Recent Shooting Incident

On 08-17-18 at approximately midnight the Janesville Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at 1951 Center Avenue, Janesville. When the officers arrived they learned that approximately three shots were fired in the parking lot of the gas station. This investigation is ongoing, however we are attempting to gather information on individuals that were at the scene, but who left prior to speaking with the police.

After reviewing the surveillance video from the gas station we have identified the following subject who fired a round into a group of people in the parking lot. Black male, age 35
5’07”, 135 pounds

We also are attempting to identify potential victims from this incident, including a male dressed in a black shirt, and blue jeans .

Around 2 pm today emergency personnel were responding to a body in the Rock River. 

A body was approx. 20 feet from the shoreline in the area of Centerway st bridge in Janesville. 

The victim is an older male, approx. 65 years old or older. 

Autopsy is scheduled for tomm.

On 06-21-18 at about 8:15pm Officer Wiley initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1200 Block of Menard St. While Officer Wiley was approaching the vehicle, the driver accelerated at a high rate of speed. Officer Wiley initiated a vehicle pursuit in which the driver of the vehicle later fled on foot in the area.

Officers responded to the area where Officer Severson deployed K9 Fred to assist in locating the subject. While conducting an area search, alert citizens and K9 Fred located the subject attempting to flee from officers. After a short foot pursuit, the subject was apprehended by K9 Fred. The fleeing subject was identified as Nathan Hevel, 27 years old of Janesville. Hevel was transported to an area hospital for injuries as a result of the K9 apprehension.

The Janesville Police Department would like to thank the observant citizens in the neighborhood. They provided updated information to officers on Hevel’s location as he continued to flee on foot. This was a collaborative effort with the community to apprehend Hevel.

Hevel was charged with the following and is awaiting court proceedings at the Rock County Jail:

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Several sources are reporting a pileup accident. Reports of up to 15 vehicles might be involved in the accident. Injuries are being reported. This is on I-90 in the Janesville area. Traffic is backed up for several miles. Avoid I-90. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Beloit Scanner:  Around 4:15 pm today, the BPD were en route to the area of Butlin and Virginia.

They are  looking for someone that just attempted a sexual assault against a victim. 

Suspect left running on foot. Maybe somewhere near the school (Aldrich).

Janesville Police Seek Robbery Suspect

The Janesville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an early morning robbery at Walmart in the city of Janesville. Early this morning on May 9, 2018 at 12:12 a.m. the suspect had been in the store trying to return an item. As he exited, he grabbed a wallet out of the hand of an exiting female customer. The suspect fled on foot and jumped into a silver vehicle with a possible partial license plate containing the letters ACJ, which was occupied by at least one other person.
