Endangering the Health or Life of a Child Arrest Press Release:‬

The Dixon Police Department announces the arrest of Jennifer A. Janus Yeager, age 49, of Dixon, Illinois on 7/9/19 at approximately 3:07 p.m. The Dixon Police Department received a complaint from a concerned citizen about an Audi passenger car driving north on the Peoria Avenue Bridge with children inside of a pool, on the roof of the vehicle.

Officers searched the area and observed a white Audi Q5 driving westbound on IL Route 2, just west of Palmyra Road, with a blue inflatable pool on the roof with two juveniles inside of the pool.

​Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on River Lane, just south of IL Route 2 where they made contact with the driver, Yeager.

​During the course of the investigation it was learned that Yeager drove into town to inflate the pool at a friends’ house and had her two juvenile daughters ride inside of the empty pool to hold it down on their drive home.

​Yeager was placed under arrest for two counts of Endangering the Health or Life of a Child and two counts of Reckless Conduct. Yeager was also cited for failure to secure a passenger of the age of 8 and under the age of 16.

Yeager was transported to the Dixon Police Department where she was processed and released after posting bond.

All charges are merely an allegation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty








 

Rockford Scanner™: Small Child Found In The Bottom Of The Pool At A Local Country Club




 

Sources are reporting a near drowning at a local country club.

A child approximately four years old was found in the bottom of the pool at the Forest Hills country club around 5:15 PM today.

They were able to pull the child out of the pool.  The child is conscious.  It is not yet known on the severity of the child’s injuries at this time.

Emergency personnel are on scene.

 








 

Rockford Scanner™: Small Child Drowned In A Pool, In South Beloit




 

Sources are reporting a small child has drowned in South Beloit over the weekend.  

It happened on Sunday around 2:15 pm in the 14100 block of Kirane ct in South Beloit.   

We have been told a small child approx. 4 years old has drowned in a swimming pool near this location. 

Police have yet to release information on this.

 








 

Rockford Scanner™: Accident With Injuries In Loves Park, Possible Extrication.




 

It happened around 7:45 pm in the area of the 100 block of E Riverside. That is near the Sand Park Pool/Mobil Gas Station area.

Reports of an automobile accident near this location.

Extrication was being requested.

Injuries were being reported. It is not yet known on the severity of the injuries.

Avoid the area or expect delays.

Update: It appears the accident is in the Mobil parking lot and it appears everyone is out of the vehicle.

Rockford Scanner™: Vehicle Crashes Into A Pole In Loves Park



Details are minimal. 

Around 2 am this morning, several officers were on scene of an auto accident in Loves Park. 

A vehicle has crashed into at least one pole, possibly two utility poles. 

One of the poles was completely down onto the ground. 

It happened on E Riverside, across from Sand Park Pool. 

Unknown on injuries. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Starting June 30th our lodge and pool area got hit 5 times .they broke out windows in our lodge,threw everything in our pool from the picnic tables to the trash cans .we finally got them on camera if you could share with this info I would be so thankful I have pics of them
