On Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 8:11pm the Rockford Police Officers responded to the Little Caesars Pizza at 3108 N Rockton Ave, in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred. The suspect entered into the business and demanded money from the female cashier.

The suspect was armed with a black handgun. She complied and provided the suspect with an unspecified amount of money. The suspect fled the business on foot. He was described as a black male, armed with a black handgun, and wearing a navy blue jacket, yellow mask covering his face, and dark pants. There were two other employees and no customers in the business at the time of the robbery.

No persons were injured during the incident.

Sources reporting a few scenes in the Rockford area.

  • A citizen had their foot ran over by a vehicle in the 3200 block of Halsted. The victim had a foot injury and was transported to a local ER.
  • A few police squad cars just passed me heading west on Broadway from East Moreland very high rates of speed I don’t know what’s going on but it must be very serious for them doing at least double the speed limit on Broadway
  • Disabled vehicle Alpine south of Sandy Hollow near the speedway gas station PD on scene providing 10-46
  • Vehicle crashed into a pizza place building near 11th st, it was deep inside the building. Around  6 am.
  • Overdose near Blackhawk
  • Heavy police presence in the Alpine Ridge neighborhood.

Rockford Scanner™: Armed Robbery To Delivery Driver, Victim Struggles With Suspect

On Thursday September 27th, 2018 at 8:24 pm Rockford Officers were dispatched to the area of 1100 21st Ave. reference an attempted armed robbery to a pizza delivery driver.

Officers learned the victim was in the area to deliver a pizza when approached by 3 subjects. One of the subjects was armed with a knife and demanded the pizza.  A struggle ensued and the suspects fled the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Suspects were described 3 black males, approximately 5′ 5″, 150 lbs.

The suspects fled west bound on foot.

Rockford Scanner™: Child Hit By A vehicle Near S Beloit

Just before 9 pm tonight, several emergency personnel were responding to an accident. 

A child has been hit by a vehicle on Prairie Hill near S. Beloit. 

 Injuries are being reported. Unknown on the severity of the injuries.
