On Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 8:49 pm Officers from the Rockford Police Department were dispatched to the CVS Pharmacy located at 3718 N. Main St. reference an attempted robbery.  Officers met with an employee who reported a subject entered the business demanding money.  The employee reported no weapon was displayed or implied.  The suspect fled the business south bound in a gray 4 door vehicle.  Nothing was stolen and no injuries were reported.

Suspect – Black male, 20’s, 5’8 – 5’10”, medium build wearing a dark ski mask, dark coat with hood up.

Another Rockford Business Robbed

Just before 9 pm tonight, sources reporting several police officers working an armed robbery to a Rockford business.

It happened at the CVS on N Main.

Suspect is a black male approx. 5’6. Last seen fleeing in a Silver Kia or an Elentra

It happened near 2990 N Perryville in Rockford,.

RPD said it was an In Progress Person

In the past RPD has labeled the following crimes as an In Progress Person: Shootings, Stabbings, Robberies, Kidnappings, Deaths.

It is not yet known what happened, due to the encryption.

Rockford Scanner®: Police Arrest Several Subjects On Warrants

Warrant Arrest

On 11-19-18 Daniel Moreno, age 27 of Rockford was arrested on an Outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear.  Moreno did not post the $787 Full Cash Bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Moreno will appear in court on 11-20-18 at 1:00 pm.

No Valid Driver’s License

On 11-20-18 at 1745 hours Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Mud Creek road on a 1995 Honda Civic for no brake lights.  After a short investigation Deputies arrested Tanis O’brien 18 of Dixon Illinois for no valid driver’s license and cited for no brake lights.  O’brien was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest

On 11-19-18 Kaleb Harrolle, age 19, of Freeport was arrested for Probation Violation and Failure to Appear. Harrolle had a bond of $3,000/10% and $1072. Harrolle was given a $1000 bond recog for both charges. Harrolle was released from the Ogle County Jail, and  will return on 12/10/18 at 10:45 for court.

Warrant Arrest

On 11-18-18 Nicholas Pillion, age 18 of Rochelle was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Consumption of Liquor as a Minor. Pillion did not post the $5,000 10% bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail.  Pillion will appear in court on 11-19-18 at 1:00 pm.

Sources reporting around 1 am Tuesday Morning, shots were fired in the 900 block of N Winnebago during an armed robbery.

Three people were getting out of a vehicle when they were approached by two teens.

The teens suspects fired their gun during the robbery.

We been told their might have been injuries but unknown.

Not to sound like a broken record, but unknown due to the encryption.

Safe to assume the suspects got away again.

Just before 1 pm today several emergency personnel were responding to a head on collision in Winnebago County

Multiple injuries are being reported at the head on collision scene.

It happened near N Main and Gleasman in Winnebago County

Sounds like the injuries are pretty serious via sources.

Rockford Scanner®: Serious Accident in Boone County

On Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at approximately 10:30 am, Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the intersection of Poplar Grove Road and Squaw Prairie Road for a two vehicle accident.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a pickup truck was traveling southbound on Poplar Grove Road in rural Boone County.

A passenger vehicle, traveling east on Squaw Prairie Road, failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of Squaw Prairie Road and Poplar Grove Road. The passenger vehicle was struck broadside by the pickup truck.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 55 year old woman, was transported by Lifeline Ambulance to St. Anthony Hospital where she later died. A male passenger of the vehicle was also transported to St. Anthony Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

The name of the deceased driver is not being released at this time. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the accident


Serious Accident in Boone County

Police have Poplar Grove rd blocked at Marengo rd intersection

Multiple injuries were reported. The injuries were believed to be life threatening. They asked for MD-1 to be en route.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
