Rockford Scanner™: Bad Accident Near Roscoe, Driver Unconscious

Just before 3 am this morning, several emergency personnel were on scene of an auto accident near Roscoe. It happened in the area of Mcurry and Hononegah.  A vehicle went off the road and struck a tree.

The driver is unconscious. Initial reports said possible extrication was going to be needed. But then it was cancelled.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Around 3:50 pm today several emergency personnel were responding to a structure fire near 5149 Bluff ct in Loves Park.

There is reports of a structure fire near this location

Smoke is reported showing. Several units from the LPFD and NPFD and HRFD are en route.  Still developing

Just before 8 am this morning, emergency personnel were responding to an accident with injuries.

Initial reports are saying a pedestrian was hit by a semi tractor trailer in Machesney Park.

It happened in the back parking lot of a business in the 9800 block of N Alpine.

Injuries were being reported, unknown on the severity of the injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Around 9:15 pm tonight several emergency personnel were responding for a possible technical rescue call.

It happened at Midwest Packaging at 9718 Forest Hills Rd in Machesney Park . 

Details are minimal right now. 

An employee is trapped under an object.  

Several units are en route to the scene.

There is an accident in the area of Old River rd. 

One of the vehicles involved is rolled over in the nearby cornfield. 

Injuries were reported, unknown on the severity of the injuries. 

Reports of a medical helicopter on scene. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

UPDATE: 5253 Mccurry rd is the location. American Aluminum.  At least one person has been injured. Male victim burned on the arm. Everyone has been evacuated. Rockton was sending an ambulance.

Reports of at least one person burned. 

It happened near American Metal Extrusion. 

Several emergency personnel are on scene and reports of them evacuating citizens nearby.

On I-90 near the toll plaza near Roscoe in the Westbound lanes. 

There is reports of a vehicle that is on fire near this location.
