Sources are reporting a possible house fire in Rockford.

It happened just before 2 pm today in the 500 block of S Pierpont.

Reports of a furnace on fire inside the residence.  They were evacuating.

Cold Case of Natasha Cleary and her 2 young sons

 

Natasha Cleary and her two young sons Marquwon Owens, 12, and Katarion Friar, 2 were brutally murdered in April 2011 at their house on Canterbury Lane.

Officials said they died as a result of gun shot wounds.

After the murders the suspect(s) set the house on fire.

According to the Coroner’s report, “The autopsy did not show any soot in their trachea or lungs…they were all dead before the fire.“

And then later on the suspect tried to use her debit card at the ATM at Northwest Bank, 3106 N. Rockton Road.

Just before 2 am this morning, emergency personnel were on scene of a house fire in Rockford.

It happened in the area of 1824 Hulin st (Near Levings Lake area)

Initial reports said it was a car on fire, but when the Rockford Fire Department arrived on scene they confirmed the house was on fire.

Heavy smoke in the area.  Theres report of a possible house fire on Rose (few blocks away)  RFD is on scene, but believe it might be from the smoke from the house fire on Hulin st.

Just before 3 pm today the Rockford Fire Department were on scene near 3839 16th Avenue for a residential structure fire, first unit reports heavy fire from rear of house.

All the occupants were able to escape, but a child was reported to have non life threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The house fire is near Rt 76  in Boone County. (In the area of Dawson Lake)

Unknown on injuries at this time.

Around 8 AM  several emergency personnel were responding to a possible house fire.

UPDATE:  MABAS BOX 11 to the box alarm

It happened in the 4600 block of Lamp Light Trail.
Google maps shows this in the area of Owen center and Elmwood

A boiler inside a crawlspace is reported to be on fire.

The residents are evacuating. This is still developing..

Sources are reporting a house fire in Loves Park

Loves Park Fire Department and North Park Fire Department are battling a house fire in the 4600 block of Fenton Lane in Loves Park. That is Northwest of Mulford and Windsor.

The fire is reported to have started in an upstairs bedroom of the residence.

Emergency personnel arrived on scene quickly and was able to knock the fire down. Unknown on injuries at this time. The residents were able to evacuate.

Emergency personnel are on scene and confirm there is a fire in the chimney of the residence.

It sounds like the fire may have started near the fireplace.

Rockford Fire Department responded to a possible house fire on the East side.  It happened in the 900 block of S 3rd st.

RFD arrived on scene and nothing was showing from the outside.

There was a smoke smell in the basement of the residence.

Unknown what the cause was from. RFD are investigating.
