Carol Cisneros is reporting a home invasion on the East side.

Reports of a victim was home alone doing her homework, when a woman in her bra and underwear committed a home invasion at the residence in the 2600 block of Cannon.

The woman then fled the scene, police located her near 11th st and Harrison.

The victim was transported to a local ER with non life threatening injuries.

The suspect was also transported to a local ER for non life threatening injuries as well.

No other information at this time.

Sources are reporting a woman has escaped from Swedish American Hospital earlier today.

Several police officers were searching the area for the woman in the hospital gown.

Source sent us the following video.

Unknown what the woman is wanted for, besides escaping the hospital.

Rockford Scanner™: 2 Different Stabbing Incidents Overnight




Sources are reporting 2 different stabbing incidents over night.

The first one happened near the 1400 block of Chestnut st.

The other stabbing was reported at Rockford Memorial Hospital. It is unclear if it happened at the hospital or the victim arrived there and the called police.

No suspect information on either of these stabbings.

Sources are reporting an auto accident with injuries and extrication is needed to cut someone out of the vehicle.

It happened around 4:05 pm today in the parking lot of Rockford Memorial Hospital.

A vehicle has hit many vehicles, sounds like in lot S-4 (Not confirmed)

No information on the extent of the injuries.

On February 23, 2002 Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 730 Newport for a medical assist call.  Upon arrival they found the victim, Lottie Flowers, 71 years old in the living room on the home with multiple stab wounds.  Mrs. Flowers was transported to the hospital where she later died.

Mrs. Flowers was very active in her church and also delivered newspapers at Rockford Memorial Hospital.  She had been at the hospital earlier that morning.

Mrs. Flowers lived in the house with her husband, son and grandson.  She was very well know and loved by all who knew her.

Sources are reporting numerous police officers at a local hospital.

Witnesses are reporting several police officers “went flying into St Anthony Hospital” at the time of writing this, it is not yet clear on what happened.

Sources said it appears to be an active scene.

Rockford Scanner™: Theft Suspect Stabs A Citizen in Rockford

On Wednesday 12/12/18 shortly after noon, Rockford Police responded to a local hospital in reference to a stabbing victim, an eighteen year old male. Officers learned the victim confronted a theft suspect in the area of 8th Street and 4th Avenue.

The victim was stabbed during the confrontation. The victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The suspect was described as a white or light skinned Hispanic male, mid twenties, between 5’08”-5’11” tall, medium build, wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans. The suspect left the area on a bicycle.

On 12/07/2018 at 1727 hours, members of the Rockford Police Department responded to Rockford Memorial Hospital for a walk in shooting victim.

Rockford Police met with a 20 year old victim of the shooting , who suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm.

The victim was uncooperative with Rockford Police on the facts and location of this shooting.  The victim was treated and released from Rockford Memorial Hospital for the gunshot wound.  This investigation is ongoing.

Update from the RPD:

On 11-18-18 at 7:46 pm officers responded to the 1500 block of Crosby Street for reports of gunshots. Officers learned a victim was walking with a friend in the 1500 block of Crosby St. when they were approached by a subject who was on foot. The subject displayed a handgun and began shooting in the direction of the victim. The victim was struck in the leg one time by gunfire. He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a mask and white shirt. 1607 Crosby St. was also struck by gunfire during the incident. No one inside the residence of 1607 Crosby St. was injured. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rockford Police or Winnebago County Crime Stoppers.


Sources say around 8 pm last night there was a shooting victim at Swedish American Hospital.

One Confirmed Shooting Victim. Unconfirmed, but possible multiple victims.

Unknown on the severity of the injuries and suspect information.

A short time before the shooting victim arrived, shots were heard in the 1500 block of Crosby.  It is believed to be related to this, but it is not yet confirmed.
