Sources are reporting a rollover accident with injuries in Loves Park.

It happened approx. 10 am this morning in front of the Starbucks on E Riverside, near Forest Hills.

A vehicle rolled over near location and landed in the parking lot in front of the Starbucks.

Unknown on the severity of the injuries.

Sources are reporting a shooting victim in Rockford.

It happened near 2929 Sunnyside in Rockford.
This is Cloisters of Forest Hills.

Sources said there is at least one shooting victim near this location. A male victim was shot in the head and is barely alive and are performing life saving measures on the victim.

No suspect information at this time, due to the encryption.

Note: Some fans have said this might be self inflicted. RPD has yet to comment on this.

Sources are reporting approx. 7-9 police squad cars working a scene at the Mobil Gas Station on Forest Hills just after 6 pm tonight.

Police call log shows no calls at this location.  But several sources have contacted us and confirmed many officers are working a scene at the Mobil station.

As you know, Police are encrypted and have yet to release information, or put the call in their call logs.

UPDATE: Sources said the alleged suspect is 22 year old Steven J. Hawks. He was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting police, robbery and drugs. Currently on no bond until he goes to court, the $150 was for a warrant.

Sources reporting numerous emergency personnel working a scene in Machesney Park.  Several police officers are searching the apartment complexes near Seaton Hall, Zenith Parkway, Delta Drive, etc…. for a suspect.

Sounds like they have a large police perimeter in the area searching for a suspect.

We cant confirm it because the encryption and police haven’t released any information.

BUSTED DURING BATTLE OF THE BELLS: Rockford Police officers ringing bells for the Salvation Army stop a shoplifter trying to steal more than a thousand dollars’ worth of merchandise. On Friday, December 14, 2018, at approximately 10:20 a.m., Rockford Police officers participating in “Battle of the Bells” against Rockford Fire Department were alerted to a male suspect shoplifting goods from Walmart (3859 Northridge Drive). When confronted by an officer outside, the suspect fled on foot. He was taken into custody after a short foot chase and now faces the below listed charges.

Danuel Schumacher, 37, Rockford: Retail Theft (Felony), Resisting/Obstructing an Officer

“While officers were volunteering for a noteworthy cause, they were quickly reminded of how important it is to remain ever-vigilant,” said Assistant Deputy Chief Carla Redd. “I am very grateful for the dedication the officers show to the community on a daily basis.”

Schumacher was lodged in the Winnebago County Jail. The charges against Schumacher are merely accusations. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty in court.


Sources said Police put a man in handcuffs earlier today near the Starbucks near Forest Hills and Riverside.

Sources said the man committed a crime at Walmart on Northridge this morning then ran from police across the road near the Taco Bell and Starbucks. Police caught the man near Starbucks.

Sources said he is an alleged theft suspect.

Side note:  Rockford Police and Fire Departments were hosting an event at the same Walmart.  #BattleoftheBells: Come donate to the Salvation Army and help RPD beat Rockford Fire Department in this change challenge at the Walmart on W. Riverside and Northridge Dr. from 10 am – 2 pm!

Sources are reporting around 4:30 am overnight, there was a home invasion in Machesney Park.

It happened in the 7800 block of Coopers Hawk Trail. That is in the subdivision near the Rockford Speedway.

We were told there was injuries reported, but can not confirm this.

Sources are reporting several police officers working a scene near E Riverside in Loves Park.  They said it appears they have a large perimeter from Forest Hills and Riverside, down to Windsor and back over to Material.

Unknown what happened at this time or who they are currently searching for.

Note:  Police label burglaries as “In Progress Property. But they labeled this call as an “In Progress Person”


Around 12:30 pm today several sources told us there were several emergency personnel near the 7400 block of Forest Hills rd near the Sahara Bar.

Police confirmed an “In Progress Person”

Police have labeled shootings, stabbings, robberies, kidnappings, deaths. As an In Progress Person.

It is not yet known exactly what happened yet, all we can confirm are police are working a scene near this location

Around 10:20 am this morning, several emergency personnel were responding to a possible Over Dose call in the area of Riverside and Forest Hills.

CPR is in progress at the time of writing this.

The victim is in the median of the intersection and CPR was being performed.

It is not a confirmed Over Dose yet, but officials do believe it is.
