Sources are reporting a few bad accidents in the area tonight. Sources said injuries have been reported at each of these scenes. Unknown on the severity of the injuries. The cause of these accidents, is under investigation.
A resident received a call today from a company claiming to be the Social Security Administration. The number that called this resident was 707-670-3021.

Officers from the Rockford Housing Authority (RHA) Unit are investigating a theft incident that occurred on February 6, 2019 at Olsen Plaza, 511 North Church Street. The suspect allegedly removed a package from in front of an apartment and opened it. The suspect then discarded the contents of the package in a stairwell.
On June 20, 2018 we made a Facebook post asking for assistance with two commercial burglaries. One of the burglaries occurred on June 10th at approximately 4am at Bubbles and Bows, 834 Gardner Street. Evidence recovered from the scene led investigators to identify Nicholas Munoz as the suspect. Upon review by the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office an arrest warrant for burglary was authorized.
On February 14, 2019 South Beloit and Beloit Police located Munoz at a residence in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue in Beloit where he was taken into custody. Munoz is lodged in the Rock County Jail awaiting extradition to Winnebago County.
Arrested: Nicholas Munoz, H/M, 28 years of age, Beloit resident.
Charge: Burglary – Bond $200,000.00

The charges against Munoz are accusations and he is considered innocent until proven guilty.
