Rockford Scanner™: Citizens Use Social Media To Express Their Feelings About The Sheriff & Leaders Lying To Them About The Rock River Flooding Situation

Many citizens in the Machesney Park area are still experiencing flooding issues and are expressing their concerns and opinions on social media.

There is a social media page called Rock River Flooding, that several citizens have joined to keep informed and expressed their feelings on the Rock River Flooding Situation.

Many citizens on there are extremely fed up with the sheriff and the leaders for lying to the citizens that have been effected by the flooding, and still are. And have expressed their frustration with the sheriff and the leaderships.

Rockford Scanner™: Blown Transformer in Rockford, Possible Power Outage

Sources are reporting a blown transformer in Rockford.

It happened near  611 Iroquois Ave in Rockford.

A transformer has blown, no reports of fire but it is sparking.

We been told the power is out in the area, but Comed has yet to confirm this.

Rockford Scanner™: Multiple Injuries At A Scene, Still Developing



is on scene at 200 Hemlock Lane. Four people have been transported to local hospitals with non life threatening injuries. People were in a bouncy house that was rolled over by the wind and eventually causing it to strike power lines and a utility pole

Several people injured at Rockford Christian after  a pole came down and injured some people including some children. (Update)

Reports of at least 4 victims, and 4 ambulances have been dispatched.

Also Comed has been dispatched to the scene.

Not yet known exactly what happened. All we know is there is at least 4 victims, several ambulances en route and Comed also en route.

UPDATE FROM A FAN: That Rockford Christian story is four kids that were in a bouncy house and the pole fell and swung around through the bouncy house and I guess the kids went flying. One is alright but there are two that are pretty bad. All got injured

 







Rockford Scanner™: Power Outages And Trees Down



 

 

 

As of 9:15 pm, COMED is reporting a large power outage in the area. 

Winnebago County has almost 700 customers without power. 

Stephenson County has almost 500 customers without power. 

The cause of the power outages are under investigation. Majority of them are believed to be storm related. 

Estimated restore time frames, vary on each scene. 

Some reports of numerous trees down in the Freeport area. 

Also a tree down across RT 75 by Wheeler rd near Durand. 

 

 

 








Rockford Scanner™: House Flooded In Loves Park. House Is Now Uninhabitable



 

 

 

Earlier today the Loves Park Fire Department, COMED, NICOR were all dispatched for a flooded residence in Loves Park. 

It happened at an address on Trent ln in Loves Park

Reports of a house that has flooded near Trent lane. 

The house is uninhabitable and the residents had to evacuate. 

Unknown on the cause of the flooding at the time of writing this. 

No other information at this time

 

 








Rockford Scanner™: Vehicle Crashes Into A Pole, Causing A Power Outage




 

 

 

Around 5:30 am this morning emergency personnel were responding to an accident in Rockford. 

It happened in the 1200 block of Rose. 

A vehicle has crashed into a pole near this location. 

The pole is snapped, approx. half way up. 

There were original reports saying the pole was on fire at the top, but when emergency personnel arrived on scene the fire must of been extinguished, because there was no more fire. 

At least 3 residences in the area are without power, due to this accident. 

Unconfirmed reports are saying the driver may have fled the scene.
