Police chasing a carjacking suspect in Rockford

On Monday, 11/21/16 at approximately 2346 hours, officers responded to the area of Kilburn and Garfield in reference to an Aggravated Vehicular Hijacking. The victim advised police that she was delivering pizzas to an address on Summerdale, when she slowed down to look for the exact numbers. The victim said two Hispanic males approached the passenger side of her vehicle, and the “taller” suspect opened the front passenger door. The victim advised the suspect put a handgun to her back, and told her to get out and leave the keys in the ignition. The victim got out of her vehicle, and the taller suspect got in the driver’s seat, while the shorter suspect got in the passenger seat. The vehicle left EB on Summerdale, and the victim called 911 to report the incident.

The suspects are described as follows:

It was determined in a follow-up investigation that the address on Summerdale (where the pizzas were being delivered) is not a valid address. This incident is currently under investigation.

Update: The carjacking happened near Kilburn and Gladstone. They recovered the vehicle, but the suspects are still on the loose. Sounds like in the neighborhood of Halsted and Huffman. Two Hispanic male suspects.

They crashed on Ridge between Halsted and Belmont

Just before midnight police were chasing a carjacking suspect. The information came across the un-encrypted airwaves of the county. Also via a few RS fans who witnessed the chase. Details are very minimal right now, due to the Rockford Police being encrypted.

But there was a carjacking. The suspect is a Hispanic male. The police were chasing the suspect in the area of Halsted and Ridge. A fan said the vehicle has a pizza delivery sign on top

Note: So we assume from this information, a robbery/carjacking happened to a pizza delivery driver in Rockford and police are now chasing the suspect.

Update from RS fan: Several officers searching the area of Randolf and Pheasant Run. Near Riverside/Rockton (SE from there) Police K-9 out tracking. Another fan saying Halsted and Huffman area (Same general area)

Pame Lo Yoch: I hope they catch these losers.. They hit my Yukon n rammed it into my aunt’s Malibu
