On 03/22/19 at approximately 5:05 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of IL Rte. 251 and Lindenwood Road in rural Lindenwood, for the report of an accident with injuries.
A blue 2009 Honda SUV was driving north on IL Rte. 251, attempting to turn right onto Lindenwood Road. A gray 2010 Dodge truck was also northbound on IL Rte. 251 following the Honda. Prior to the Honda completing its right turn, the Dodge truck drove onto the right shoulder of IL Rte. 251 striking the Honda.
The Dodge truck then lost control and rolled over, coming to rest on its roof in the northbound lane of IL Rte. 251. The driver of the Honda, Katrina Weir, 24, of Monroe Center, was not injured.
The driver of the Dodge, William Doane, 71, of Davis Junction, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ogle County Coroner. Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Illinois State Police, Rochelle Fire Department and REACT helicopter.

Jennifer had a dash camera in her vehicle.
She were headed Northbound on N Second (251) and was in the turn lane at Hononegah when the accident happened.
The lady in front of Jennifer put her vehicle into reverse and hit the gas, running into Jennifer’s vehicle. Then the person in the vehicle then pulls forward and gets out of the vehicle. When doing so, she forgot to put the vehicle into park. The vehicle then rolls forward hitting another vehicle.

It happened one day around 1 AM In ogle County in the area of the 1700 block of Liberty Hill.
Oregon Police Department were responding to a burglary call near Mount Morris. While en route to the scene they saw a vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 64 between Mount Morris and Oregon at an extremely high rate of speed and went to chase it.
The officer came upon a vehicle that rolled several times and found the occupant outside the vehicle. He is identified as 34-year-old Joshua Denning of Oregon. He was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
A few hours later police were responding to an unconscious man laying in a yard in the area of Franklin and 5th. That person was identified as Jason Marks. He was later arrested on burglary charges stemming from a January accident.
Police believe he was in the vehicle with Joshua Denning when it crashed.
