Details are minimal.

Around 1 am this morning several police officers had a vehicle stopped in an alleyway near 8th st and 12th ave. Sources are reporting the WCSO initiated a traffic stop near this location. At least one alleged suspect (unknown description) fled on foot Eastbound from the vehicle.

A police K-9 was called in to search the vehicle and track the suspect.
The dog went East from the vehicle.

It is unclear if they were able to catch the suspect, because the police K-9 did not track long.

There was a RPD paddy wagon nearby.

No other information is available.
