Rockford Scanner™: Stabbing Victim On The East Side

Sources are reporting a stabbing in Rockford.

It happened around 2:45 am this morning in the 1100 block of 17th ave. That is near 7th st.

It is reported a female and male have been stabbed, during a domestic disturbance.

The officer on scene was not able to talk or provide any information, and said to call the media line. I did call the media line and it rang and rang and rang, and no answer. This happens all the time, all the time… You can’t leave a message either for them to call you back, it just rings and rings and rings.

I even texted Christie Castillo (RPD PIO, Yes, the former WTVO news anchor)  cell phone, and no response. I asked her to please release an official statement on this scene.

So at this time, I have tried all the ways someone can get an official statement or information from police, with no luck at this time.

No other information at this time.
