One of the victims has life threatening injuries, doing CPR on the victim.  Unknown on the other victims condition.

Update:  One of the victims is a female that was shot in the stomach area. The other is a male shot in the lower right region, possibly the hip.

On 11/11/18 at 9:37 pm Rockford Police Officers responded to the 2100 and 2200 block of Lawndale Ave for a report of gunshots fired and a house struck by gunfire.

Officers located two residences, which were occupied, to be struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.

Rockford Scanner®: Double Shooting Victim Scene in Rockford, CPR Being Performed


 

RPD:

On 11/11/18 at 0359 hours Rockford Police Officers responded to the 900 block of N. Church St for a shooting victim. It was learned that the victim met the suspects in the area to sell them a cell phone.  The victim entered the suspect’s vehicle where he handed them the cell phone.  One suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and the victim fought the suspect.  During the fight the victim was shot.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects were described as black males, in their 20’s, 5’10”- 6’, one was armed with a black handgun. The suspect vehicle was described as a newer black sedan.

Last night was a bloody violent night in Rockford once again.

This shooting scene happened in the 900 block of Church  in Rockford.

It happened around 4 am this morning.

At least one person was confirmed shot, not yet known on the severity of the injuries. No suspect information, due to the police encryption.

UPDATE from the Winnebago County Coroner on Tuesday Nov. 13th 2018 


MURDER INVESTIGATION: On Sunday, November 11, 2018, shortly before 1:00 a.m. patrol officers from the Rockford Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the parking lot of the Citgo gas station, 4315 Auburn Street. When they arrived, officers located a 37-year-old female shooting victim. She was transported to a local hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.

During the on-scene investigation, a second victim, a 25-year-old male, arrived at a local hospital also suffering from gunshot wounds sustained during the same incident. The male is in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

The names of the victims are not being released at this time pending notification of family members.

Detectives from the Rockford Police Department are conducting a follow-up investigation into the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rockford Police Department 815-966-2900 or Crime Stoppers 815-963-7867.


Around 1 am this morning, several emergency personnel were on scene of a double shooting victim scene in Rockford.

Two people have been shot in the 4300 block of Auburn st in Rockford. This is near the Citgo gas station near Auburn Manor

At least one victim has life threatening injuries and CPR is being performed.

The 2nd victim self transported to a local ER.

UPDATE:

On Friday November 9, 2018 at 9:14pm, Rockford Officers responded to W. State St & Johnston Ave in reference to shots fired and a car crash.  Through further investigation, Officers learned that the vehicle that crashed was being chased by a dark colored 2-door Ford Mustang.  Gunfire was believed to be exchanged between both vehicles.  A male passenger from the crashed car sustained minor injuries.  It was unclear if his injuries occurred from the gunfire or car crash.  A utility pole was damaged at the scene of the crash.  Barricades were placed to close the curb lane in the area of W. State St & Day Ave until ComEd is able to repair the damaged pole.

W State near the scene is shut down. Avoid the area! From Way-Lo all the way down to Johnston.   There was a chase, shots were fired during the chase.  A vehicle crashed into 2 utility poles.


Around 9:20 pm tonight, emergency personnel were responding to a shooting victim, vehicle on fire at the shooting scene.

It happened in the 200 block of N Johnston

Reports of at least one person shot.  Sounds like it is life threatening. The police took the victim via their squad car to the nearby hospital.

A pole is snapped in half near State and Day.

No suspect information, due to the police encryption

Sources are saying this was a  chase with shots fired that ended up  with a shooting victim.  We can not confirm this, due to the encryption.

Shots Fired During A Home Invasion, 3 Year Old Victim Inside The Residence

On 11/7/2018 at around 11:12 PM, officers from the Rockford Police Department responded to a residence, in the 3200 block of Orleans Avenue, in regards to a Home Invasion.

Officers met with the occupants of the home, a 37 year old female and her two children, who were 17 and 3 years of age.

They reported that 2 or 3 suspects, who were armed with at least one firearm, forced their way into the home. During the ensuing confrontation one of the suspects fired several gunshots inside of the residence and all suspects fled the scene.

No injuries were reported during this incident. The suspects were described as black males, wearing all dark clothing, between 18-21 years of age, between 5’08”-6’01” tall and having thin builds.

 Shots Fired During A Road Rage Incident in Rockford 

Sources reporting shots were fired during a road rage incident in Rockford.

It happened last night around 6:30 pm near the area of 3433 N Church in Rockford.

The incident began when there was a traffic incident, initial reports are saying the driver was almost hit by a speeding vehicle.

The vehicle stopped and the driver got of their vehicle and began to fire off numerous gunshots at the victims vehicle, then fled the scene.

RPD: On Tuesday November 6th, 2018 at 7:12 pm Rockford Police Officers were dispatched to a local hospital reference a walk in shooting victim.

Officers met with the victim who suffered from a single non-life threatening gunshot wound. Victim advised he was near the intersection of Green St. and Stewart Ave. when he heard multiple gunshots and was struck once.

Victim had no suspect information.

On Sunday November 4, 2018 at 6:20 pm Officers were dispatched to the area of 3100 W. State St. for an Aggravated Discharge.

The victims advised they had gone to 3109 W. State St. when an occupant of another vehicle fired 4 gunshots at their vehicle. The vehicle was not struck and there were no injuries reported.

The suspect vehicle was described as a dark colored 2012 Chevy Suburban. The Chevy fled east bound from the scene.

Freeport, IL. – Execution of a search warrant results in felony firearms charges for Deandre Farrille (age 24) of Freeport and Alvin Jones (age 25) of Rockford.

On November 2nd, 2018, at approximately 6:20 am, the Freeport Police Department Gang Unit and the F.P.D. Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of E. Winneshiek Street in Freeport. During a search of the residence two (2) semi-automatic pistols and firearms ammunition were recovered. The ensuing investigation resulted in the arrests of two men who were present when the search warrant was executed; Deandre Farrille (age 24) of Freeport, and Alvin Jones (age 25) of Rockford.

Rockford Scanner™: Alleged School Shooter, Booked In The Winnebago County Jail



 

Winnebago County Jail confirms they have Matthew Milby in custody. He was booked in the Winnebago County Jail around 6:26 pm last night. He is currently held on no bond, hold for out of county.

There are 2 counts of Murder, unknown if this stems from the school shooting incident. Because he was charged with attempted murder in that case, and not actual murder.  So it is not yet clear if the murder charges are new charges, or stemming from the school shooting in Dixon earlier this year.

All we can confirm right now, is that Matthew Milby is currently booked inside the Winnebago County Jail. And is held on no bail, held for out of county.

Note: He might have been transferred here from another location. They do fly prision “Con Air” flights out of the Rockford Airport. He might be getting ready to be transferred to a prison. Details are minimal right now. Like we said, all we can confirm is he is currently in the Winnebago County Jail.


Matthew Milby is alleged to have committed a school shooting in Dixon, IL earlier this year.

Authorities allege that on May 16, Milby entered the foyer of the gym, where members of the school’s senior class were gathered to rehearse for their upcoming graduation ceremony. He allegedly fired toward gym teacher Andrew McKay, who ducked into the gymnasium and told the students to flee.Within seconds, Dixon police Officer Mark Dallas, who works as a resource officer at the high school, ran to the scene and began chasing Milby as he fled toward his car. Authorities alleged Milby fired at Dallas, who returned fire, striking Milby several times. Milby was arrested at the scene and no one else was injured. Matthew Milby is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated discharge at a school employee and aggravated discharge at a school building.

President Donald Trump offered praise to an Illinois school resource officer who stopped a school shooting while addressing the International Association of Chiefs of Police on Monday.

Dixon Public Schools police Officer Mark Dallas, who in May confronted an alleged gunman who targeted Dixon High School, was named the IACP’s “Officer of the Year” for his quick work in stopping the potential school shooting.

Dallas chased the suspect, Matthew Milby, after he allegedly fired shots near the school’s gymnasium, where seniors were practicing for graduation. The Chicago Tribune reports Milby allegedly entered the gym’s foyer and fired toward a teacher. Dallas arrived at the scene “within seconds” and began chasing Milby. The two eventually exchanged gunfire, and Milby was injured. Dallas was unharmed.

Trump honored Dallas when he addressed the International Association of Chiefs of Police in Orlando.

“Mark Dallas was on duty at Dixon High School in Illinois when he heard gunshots. Within, listen to this, three seconds he was at the scene right outside the auditorium where the entire senior class was gathered and was in a lot of trouble. The shooter fled and fired shots at him but officer Dallas chased him down before a single student was injured,” Trump said. “Officer Dallas’s son, Joshua, was one of the seniors inside of that auditorium. Afterwards, Joshua said, ‘I wasn’t scared for my life at all because I knew my dad would protect us.’ How good is that?”

In May, Joshua Dallas told ABC 7 he knew his dad would “protect us all.”

“I never once feared for my life,” he said. “But it did scare me that he was the one going after the shooter.”

In accepting the honor on Monday, Mark Dallas said: “My son said he wasn’t scared because dad was out there. I was dad to 182 other kids in that gymnasium.”

We have gotten numerous reports of shots fired all over the city, in the last 24 hours.  Local police have confirmed several weapons violations in the last 24 hours.  Unknown if anyone has been struck by the gunfire.

There was one report of an aggravated battery, that is possibly a shooting victim in the 1100 block of Bruce st just beofre 12:30 am.

As you know, the police are encrypted. So there is no suspect information on none of these. It is safe to assume the suspects were able to get away scott free and are still roaming the streets.

Sources are reporting the raid happened near 11300 block of Jasmine Drive in Rosoce

132 grams of cocaine, 68 grams of cannabis, 88 pills of Xanax, .3 grams of ecstasy and 18 firearms, 2 of the 18 were reported stolen

Police have yet to release information on this.

Rockford Scanner™: Man Shot Multiple Times, Police Arrest Alleged Suspect

On 10-31-18 shortly after 2:30 p.m. the Janesville Police Department responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of Holiday Dr. The first officer on scene located a 32 year old male resident of Janesville that had multiple gunshot wounds to his legs, hand, and upper torso.

Janesville Police Officers located a vehicle near the intersection of Alden Rd. and Blackbridge Rd. that was operated by a 22 year old male subject. The male was taken into custody without incident, and a handgun was recovered.

The victim was transported to Mercy Hospital and underwent surgery for his wounds. At the time of this press release his wounds don’t appear to be life threatening.

The suspect and the victim know each other, and this incident appears to be the result of an ongoing feud between the two.
The suspect was charged and is being held at the Rock County Jail awaiting court proceedings.

Another violent day in the city of Rockford and surrounding areas.

Sources told us about a shooting victim at Swedish American Hospital. Unknown if the shooting took place at the hospital or the victim was shot at a different location and then transported there.

Sources also told us about the Advanced Auto on Auburn that was robbed.

We tried to get information from the police, they said “No comment”

No suspect information on any of these calls. Safe to assume none have been captured and are still roaming the area.

But we can confirm these via the police call logs.


UPDATE from the RPD:

On Tuesday October 30, 2018 at 7:12pm, Rockford Officers responded to Advance Auto Parts located at 3019 Auburn St in reference to an aggravated robbery.  The suspect implied he had a weapon and demanded money from the clerk whom complied.  The suspect fled out to the parking lot, got into a vehicle, and drove away eastbound on Auburn St.  There were customers inside of the business during the incident but no injuries were reported.

The second scene was near the 5300 block of Northrock around 10 pm. Police said that there was an aggravated battery.

The third scene is near the 3300 block of Bildahl around 7:45 pm.

Sources reporting a person has been stabbed in the shoulder in the 700 block of N Horsman in Rockford.

One person was arrested, but the arrest was not related to the stabbing. So the stabbing suspect is still on the loose. No suspect information, due to the encryption.  The victims injuries are serious, but police said non life threatening.
