On Saturday, December 3, 2016, Loves Park Patrol Officers received a complaint from a man who allegedly lost $700.00 in a game of chance inside Truck Liquidation Sale, 6307 N. 2nd St.
Officers responded to the store & met with staff. During the investigation, Albert Mazurkiewicz (Townsend, Georgia) was arrested & charged with Operating/Promoting Gambling. Games allegedly used in the gambling were seized.
Officers noticed that illegal weapons, including stun guns, throwing stars & brass knuckles were being offered for sale inside the store. A search warrant was obtained, the store was searched & the weapons were seized.
The store manager, Sumeet Pahouja (Powell, Ohio) was charged with Unlawful Sale of Weapons.
Anyone who purchased weapons from the store concerned about possessing the item, or who may have been drawn into the gambling is asked to call the Loves Park Police Department at (815) 654-5015, Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30 PM.
The defendants are considered innocent, unless proven guilty in a court of law.
Around 3 am this morning a broadcast came over the un-encrypted airwaves of the Illinois State police in reference to an armed robbery in Rockford.
It happened on Ridge ave in Rockford around 2 am.
The suspects fled in a Dark Blue Chevy Lumina 2 door.
#1 Male black around 6’2, wearing a black jacket or hooded sweatshirt. Armed with a gun.
#2 Male black, 5’6 wearing a White jumpsuit and armed with a gun

Suspect #1 B/M 30 black jacket, red and black back pack

Both armed w/unknown typed handguns and left business unknown direction.
On Friday, December 02, 2016 at 1153 hours Rockford Police Officers responded to G & G Carwash located at 1924 Clifton Ave in reference to an Armed Robbery to the business. Upon arrival, officers were advised two black male suspects confronted three persons working at the business and demanded money. The suspects took the wallets of two of the persons inside of the business but the third person managed to exit the business to notify the police. Neither of the three persons were injured. This is an on going investigation.

“A couple of late teens early 20’s tried to rob me when I got home from work area of 7th Ave and 11th st, 2 black males, around 6 feet tall 170 lbs ish, 1 with a black hoodie the other with a gray hoodie, with a female driver they are in a Pontiac Grand Prix or bonnivelle tan light color”
On 11-30-16, at 2:51 PM, the Rockford Police Department responded to a residence in the 2800 block of Echo Street in regards to a subject that had been shot during the course of a home invasion. Upon arrival officers found a subject suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The initial investigation revealed two supects forced their way into the residence and a struggled took place with the victim. During the course of the struggle one of the suspects shot the victim and then both suspects subsequently fled the area on foot. The suspects are both desribed as black males armed with handguns.
At the time of this post no additonal details were available.
Several fans have contacted us and said there was a home invasion and shooting in the Orton Keyes off of Kishwaukee.
Rockford police are encrypted, and they have yet to release any information.

At approximately 9:35 PM on November 28th, members of the Rockford Police Department responded to the 3400 block of Robey Ave, to investigate a home invasion.
During the course of the investigation, officers determined that 5 black male suspects forced their way into the residence through the rear door. All of the suspects were armed with firearms, and had masks on.
The suspects forced the residents of the home into the bathroom, where they were held at gunpoint while the remaining suspects stole assorted items from the home. The suspects eventually fled the residence.
This is an ongoing investigation
Around 1 am officers attempted to stop a vehicle. The vehicle fled from the officer. The officer chased the vehicle. The vehicle did not have a plate on it. The suspect got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, but officers caught the suspect. This happened near Barton. The vehicle was stolen and they also recovered a gun. The vehicle was registered to an address on Seminary
Thanks to the un-encrypted airwaves of the Winnebago County police, we were able to hear the 10-68 of a bank robbery in Rockford.
The suspect fired off their gun inside the Harvard Bank at 2470 East Rock Drive in Rockford. The suspect was robbing the bank. Unknown if anyone was injured.
The suspect is a white male, 5’10, wearing a ski mask. He fled in a dark colored grand prix with tinted windows. Plate # of N536020 or similar.
The plate comes back to an address near Rockton.
