Sources are reporting numerous emergency personnel working a scene near S Beloit overnight around 3:45 am

It happened at the Macktown Pub at 1339 Dearborn ave in S Beloit.

Several emergency personnel were on scene.

Police said it was an “In Progress Person” call and provided no other details.

In the past the police have labeled: Shootings, Stabbings, Robberies, Kidnappings, Murders, Home Invasions, Fatals, etc….     as “In Progress Person”

RPD confirmed an aggravated battery with a knife.

It happened around 1 am this morning at the Mobil at 2605 Broadway.

Just before 7 am this morning, several emergency personnel were dispatched for a large fuel leak at 2406 S Bell School, at the Fasfuel.

A tanker has leaked out approx. 25 to 30 gallons of fuel onto the ground.

Unknown how it happened. Emergency personnel are en route.

Just after 8 pm tonight several emergency personnel were dispatched to an auto accident in Loves Park.

It happened at Harlem and Perryville in Loves Park.

An auto accident is reported near this intersection. One of the vehicles involved in the accident is smoking, so the LPFD are en route.

Non life threatening injuries are being reported.

The cause of the accident is under investigation

A wintry mix of rain, freezing rain and snow is expected to spread across the area beginning Tuesday morning through much of Tuesday night. Temperatures will rise into the low to mid 30s on Tuesday.

However, given the recent cold, surfaces will likely remain below freezing for a period even after air temperatures rise above freezing. Freezing rain accumulations of up to 0.1” are possible across much of the area, especially leading up to the Tuesday evening commute.

Additionally, across northern portions of the area, precipitation may remain primarily in the form of wet snow. Be prepared for potentially slippery conditions and travel impacts area wide Tuesday afternoon and evening.

UPDATE:

MURDER INVESTIGATION: On Monday, January 21, 2019, shortly before 4:00 p.m., patrol officers from the Rockford Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the 700 block of Kent Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old male victim lying in the street suffering from a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

Based on the information available at this time, it is believed the victim was walking with a group of friends when they were confronted by an unknown number of suspects in a car. Shots were fired from the vehicle at the group, and the victim was struck and killed.

The identity of the victim is not being released pending family notification. Detectives from the Rockford Police Department are conducting a follow-up investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 815-966-2900 or leave an anonymous tip with Rockford Area Crime Stoppers at 815-968-7867.


This is now a confirmed fatal shooting. They are asking for more sheets at the scene. Unknown why at this time.

Sources are reporting a shooting victim in Rockford.

It happened in the area of Ferguson and Kent around 4 pm.

There is at least one shooting victim near this location. The victim is located in the roadway near this intersection.

Update: The injuries are fatal.

At the time of writing this, unknown on the suspect information.

Note: This is near the Saint Anthony Church.
The local police use this as a mini HQ to warm up, etc…. But police said this murder has nothing to do with the church, other than the scene is located outside of it.

UPDATE: RPD has released this:
DEADLY SHOOTING: RPD is investigating a shooting that happened at approximately 4 p.m. Monday in the area of Kent Street and Ferguson. A male victim was pronounced dead on the scene. More info to come when available.

Sources are reporting a possible water rescue in Boone County.

Around 2:30 pm several emergency personnel were responding for a water rescue in the 4900 block of Newburg.

Reports of a snowmobile in the water and they are unable to locate the rider.

While en route, they located the rider and they were safe so the water rescue was canceled
