First and Foremost: Thank you RPD for the transparency:

 

RECKLESS DISCHARGE: On Sunday, September 12, 2021, at approximately 5:22 p.m., Rockford Police officers responded to the 600 block of Tay Street for reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers located five subjects standing outside the property and also located and recovered a loaded handgun.

The facts of the case were reviewed with the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office who authorized the charges listed below.

The charges are merely accusations and all individuals are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
