Rockford Scanner™: Two Arrested After A Police Squad Car Was Struck By A Motorist




On 11/2/20 at 9:37 PM, a Janesville Police Officer was assisting a stalled motorist on the Center Ave Bridge.

A vehicle driven by Lucas Rognholt struck the parked squad car.

The Wisconsin State Patrol was requested to investigate the traffic accident.

As a result, Rognholt was arrested for OWI 2nd Offense by the Wisconsin State Patrol.

While officers were investigation the traffic accident, a separate vehicle drove around emergency vehicles blocking the roadway almost striking an officer.

A Rock County Deputy was able to stop the vehicle.

As a result, the drive of the vehicle, Nicole Petitt, was arrested for OWI 1st Offense by the Rock County Sherriff’s Department.

Arrested: Lucas Rognholt age 34 of Janesville
Charge: OWI 2nd Offense

Arrested: Nicole Petitt age 41 of Milton
Charge: OWI 1st Offense
