  • Approx. Location:  2100 block of Auburn Street 
  • Type of the possible call: Shooting 

What possibly may have happened, according to sources:  

Sources are reporting a shooting that happened at approximately 1:00 this afternoon in the 2100 block of Auburn Street in Rockford.

Initial reports are this was a drive by shooting.

One male was suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his left flank/side area and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.

We will update when we receive further information.

Please avoid the area while police are investigating.

Per RPD:

Shooting investigation in the 2100 block of Auburn. 21-year-old male victim sustained what appears to be a non life-threatening gunshot wound. Please avoid the area
