Rockford Scanner™: Rollover Accident in Ogle County


On January 20, 2020 at 12:27 PM the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, Forreston Police Department, Forreston Fire Department, and the Forreston Ambulance responded to a one vehicle roll over accident on Rt. 26 at Lanark Rd.

A gray Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Rt. 26 when the vehicle drove onto the shoulder of the road. The driver Kevin M. Brill, age 62 of Forreston corrected back on the roadway causing the vehicle to lose control. The vehicle skidded across the road striking an embankment on the east side of Rt. 26. The vehicle then rolled over in the ditch coming to a stop on its roof.

Brill was extricated from the vehicle by the Forreston Fire Department and then transported to Freeport Memorial Hospital with minor injuries by the Forreston Ambulance.
