Rockford Scanner™: Possible Slippery Road Conditions This AM

A fairly large north-south range in temperatures is expected today with highs in the mid and upper 30s near the Wisconsin state line as you get closer to Route 24 and into central Illinois. In addition, there is a threat for a brief light wintry mix this morning (mainly 8 AM – Noon) across parts of far northern Illinois. If dry air erodes & precipitation manages to reach the surface (about a 30% chance), a few slippery spots could develop before temps warm above freezing.
