Driving under the Influence

On 06/05/2020 at approximately 9:50 am Ogle County Deputies, with the assistance of the Oregon Police Department,  conducted a traffic stop in the 6000 block of East Illinois Route 64.
During the traffic stop  the driver of the vehicle, Kenneth A Henry, age 32 of Peoria, fled on foot.  After a short foot chase, Henry was taken into custody.
Henry was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license, no valid drivers license, resisting arrest, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to signal, improper lane usage, failure to wear seatbelt and operation a vehicle with no insurance.
Henry also had an outstanding warrant.
Henry was transported to the Ogle County jail where he is being held in lieu of bond.
