Sources are reporting a fire on the East side.
It happened around 6 pm in the 1600 block of Oakes ave.
Reports that a grill caught on fire and it was near the residence.
Since the grill was on fire and close to the residence, several units from the RFD were en route.
RFD arrived on scene and was quickly able to extinguish the fire.
No reports of damage to the residence.
