Rockford Scanner™: Domestic Violence Situation Turns Into A Police Tactical Situation


Update: The suspect taken into custody was Cadillac L. Williams, 31.

He was arrested for 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety-domestic violence, disorderly conduct-domestic violence, battery-domestic violence, strangulation and suffocation, and felon in possession of a firearm.

He was also arrested on a warrant issued by the Department of Corrections prior to this domestic violence incident.

Thank you to the Milwaukee Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol for their assistance today!

Update: The suspect was safely taken into custody in Milwaukee.

Original: We are investigating a domestic violence call here in Beloit that has led to an ongoing tactical situation with authorities in Milwaukee.

The incident here occurred in the 1200 block of Porter Avenue at 1:21am. The suspect fled from the area prior to our arrival. He was later located in Milwaukee.

In addition to being armed during the domestic violence incident, the suspect made threats against law enforcement.

Additional information will be made available upon the conclusion of the tactical response in Milwaukee.
