Note: At the time of posting this (midnight) light snow is falling near Monroe.
Periodic light precipitation is likely overnight into Monday morning, with a spotty chance prior to midnight.
Some of this may be a mix with or even be all light snow.
No accumulation is forecast, and at the most it appears a dusting may occur in mainly north central Illinois.
Chances for precipitation will gradually inch southward during the afternoon into the evening on Monday.
Tuesday and Wednesday look dry with a moderation in temperatures into Wednesday although still cooler than normal for late October.
Thursday will bring the next chance of precipitation.
