A few periods of potentially gusty snow showers or squalls are possible Monday, both in the AM & again in the late PM/evening. The 2nd round may coincide w/ parts of the evening commute, especially along and north of I-88. If you are unfamiliar w/ what snow squalls are, take a look at the attached infographic in this post.

Another period of snow is expected Monday Night which may bring 1-2″ of snowfall to locales near and north of I-80, and up to an inch to the south. In addition, strong and gusty winds to 40 mph could result in blowing snow causing reduced visibility along w/ slippery travel.
