Rockford Scanner: Accident With Injuries On The East Side

Rockford Police working an automobile accident scene. Vehicle crashed through the chain link fence and almost into the residence.

Approx. 2:30 am this morning emergency personnel from both the Rockford Police and Fire Departments were working an auto accident scene on the East side.

It happened on 15th ave near 10th st.

There were 2 vehicles involved in the auto accident.

One of the vehicles involved crashed through a fence and almost into the residence.

At least 1 person was transported to a local ER. Unknown on their condition.

We have gotten unconfirmed reports that a person may have fled from the scene, but officials have not confirmed this.

Rockford Police are investigating the auto accident.
