“My brother died yesterday after contracting the Covid-19 at Anam Memory Care in Rockford.
Anam Memory Care has therefore lost 7 of its 11 residents, if not all residents as of today … a real nightmare”

- On Sunday, April 26, the Winnebago County Health Department announced that 20 Winnebago County residents tested positive for COVID-19 for a total of 313 cases in the county.
- On Friday, April 24, the Community Based Testing Site opened at the UIC Health Sciences Campus – Rockford (1601 Parkview Avenue, Rockford, IL). The site is drive-thru only and anyone who has COVID-19 like illness or symptoms (fever, cough, shorteness of breath) can get tested for free at the site which is open 7 days a week from 8am until 4pm or testing supplies (500 per day) run out.
