Police Conduct A Traffic Stop, 1 Person Arrested For Marijuana & A Loaded Handgun

UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON: On Thursday, October 7, 2021, at approximately 1:15 a.m.,
Rockford Police SCOPE officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of S. Alpine.
During the investigation, officers located and recovered a loaded handgun, ammunition, over 66 grams of
cannabis, and United States Currency.
The driver, Aaron Goodloe, was taken into custody and
lodged in the County Jail.
The Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office reviewed the facts of the investigation and
authorized the charges listed below.
