Congratulations Officer Brady Bailey

The Loves Park Police Department would like to congratulate Officer Brady Bailey, the recipient of the 2019 VFW Officer of the Year Award. Officer Bailey was hired by Loves Park Police in September of 2018. He was nominated for the award by his Sergeant, due to his outstanding work ethic, great teamwork, and tenacity to excel.

In 2019 alone, Officer Bailey responded to over 1600 calls for service. In that time, he was responsible for over 20 DUI arrests. Officer Bailey has been instrumental in the safety of persons and property in the City of Loves Park throughout the past year and has made many arrests for criminal cases that include: Domestic Battery, Aggravated Fleeing, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Burglary to name a few.

We would also like to thank all of our fellow officers and family members who came out for this great event, and thanks so much to our Veterans for honoring these officers. We would also like to recognize and thank Mayor Jury, Alderman Clint Little, and Alderman Jim Puckett for attending this event in support of our department, the other area departments, and the officers that were recognized.

Last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 9759. The precious freedoms we live by every day, come at no small price to our Veterans, yet they still take the time to honor others in the Community. This is just one shining example of why our Veterans are so great!
