Aircraft Declares An Emergency At The Rockford Airport

Sources are reporting an aircraft has declared an emergency at the Rockford Airport. 

It happened around 12:45 am this morning. 

An aircraft (UPS947) that is coming into land at the Rockford Airport has declared an emergency because they have an issue with their flaps.  

They were able to land safely without any issues. They landed on runway 1/19, and came into the wind and their speeds were pretty slow on their approach. No injuries.  

The UPS flight is a Boeing 757-200 that originated from Oakland, CA around 7:31PM PST and was coming to the Rockford Airport and landed around 1 am CDT. Approx. a 3 hour and 28 minute flight.
