GalaxyCon, the largest independently owned consumer fan engagement company, is excited to announce its debut event in the Chicago area with Nightmare Weekend, May 2-4, 2025 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

Over three exhilarating days, Nightmare Weekend presents a terrifying lineup of frightful celebrities, after-dark programming, sinister vendors, and ominous cosplay competitions. Immerse yourself in your favorite fandoms with over 100 hours of horror programming including Q&A’s, performances, comedy, fan panels, screenings, video gaming, tabletop gaming, tattooing, and more. Whether you’re a horror aficionado or just love a good scare, this event promises a ghastly good time filled with fun for all ages.
“The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is proud to host Nightmare Weekend Chicago, GalaxyCon’s first ever show in Chicagoland,” said Christopher Stephens, DES Executive Director. “We know that pop culture fans will have a first-rate experience and a frightful good time all weekend long here in Rosemont.”

Fantasy Super Cosplay Wrestling (FSCW) makes its Chicago-area debut all three days of Nightmare Weekend Chicago and the party also continues into the early morning hours Friday and Saturday night with After Dark Cosplay Competitions, Cosplay Cabarets, Karaoke, Dance Parties, & more!
