On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at approximately 9:52 a.m.,
members of the Rockford Police Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence
in the 6800 block of Garrett Lane. Before the execution of the warrant, the suspect in the
investigation, Ivory Holland, and another man, Kendrick Bell, were taken into custody in
the 8000 block of E. State Street. During the investigation, RPD Detectives learned that
Holland and Bell were planning a home invasion in Chicago, and during the search of the
residence, officers located over 228 grams of Fentanyl, over 79 grams of Cocaine, ten
MDMA pills (Ecstasy), other drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of United
States Currency. Holland and Bell were lodged in the County Jail.
After a review of the facts of the case, the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office
authorized the charges listed below.

Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion
Conspiracy to Commit Residential Burglary
Conspiracy to Commit Robbery

Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl

Possession with Intent to Deliver MDMA
Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion
Conspiracy to Commit Residential Burglary
Conspiracy to Commit Robbery
