On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, the City of Rockford Public Works will close the
eastbound and westbound inside lanes of E State St from Mulford to Bienterra so crews can
repair storm sewer manholes. The work is anticipated to be completed by
Friday, August 2nd2024, subject to weather.

Citizens who must drive through this area are encouraged to find an alternate route if
possible. If you must drive through the work zone, citizens are urged to use extreme caution.
