Rockford PD Release:

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, at
approximately 10:05 p.m.,
Rockford Police officers conducted a traffic stop
in the 1600 block of 11th Street.

During the investigation, officers were advised
that the vehicle was reported stolen out
of DeKalb County.

Officers also located and recovered
cocaine and a large quantity of drug
paraphernalia.

The sole occupant, Anthony Howard,
was taken into custody, lodged in the County
Jail and has since been released.

After a review of the facts of the case,
The Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office authorized
the following charges.

Anthony Howard, 58, Rockford

Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

Manufacturing/Delivery of Controlled Substance
